The Importance of Certified Guiding Lion Training
The Certified Guiding Lion Programme was developed to strengthen the support provided by the Guiding Lion to:
1. Help the club determine its mission and purpose
2. Improve retention of new club members
3. Improve the assimilation of new club into the LCI structure
4. Improve the relationship between sponsoring club and new club
5. Improve the support of advisers over two-year period of time.
6. Improve the knowledge level of the Guiding Lion
Current programme fulfilled these objectives in general but the
programme needed to be more proactive and utilize new resources
