Mahmoud has been working under my direct supervision for over the last three years in thecapacity of a Senior Trainer of the IT Education Project.

He was responsible for the supervision of 20 teachers at lO schools within the Abu Dhabizone. His duties included making inspection visits to schools to maintain the programmequality, mentoring of individual teachers to improve their teaching practise, designing andrunning teacher training workshops as well as providing input on the development ofcurriculum for the programme.

In addition to this he also performed other administrative tasks such as lesson scheduling,managing the teacher recruitment process and following up on the assessment of teacherperformance.

Since the beginning Mahmoud has shown a very high level of commitment to theachievement of the Project's educational goals. His active participation in the Clic programmeas well as the development of an online Knowledge Management System for teachers furtherenhanced the educational dimensions of the IT Education Project.

Mahmoud is a professional of the highest calibre, who meticulously researches, plans andexecutes his work. I have received many compliments from teachers, students and partnerswho have had to interact with Mahmoud.
