ó The pipe bends featured in this presentation are used in high and ambient temperature pneumatic conveying and gas cooling applications.
ó Advanced ceramic lined pipe bends and straights can be used in operating temperatures up to, approximately, 1250 degrees centigrade.
ó The ceramic lining systems are designed to accept differential expansion and mechanical flexure.

ó Nitride Bonded Silicon Carbide is a refractory grade ceramic and can be used as a high temperature bend lining; however, this ceramic in porous and care must be taken when corrosive chemicals and acids are present.
ó The ceramic lining system is grouted into the bend casing with an acid resistant refractory cement capable of operating in temperatures up to 1250 degrees centigrade.

ó RESILIDE is a non porous engineering grade ceramic and an excellent high temperature bend lining product. RESILIDE is extremely resistant to abrasion, corrosion and thermal shock.
ó The ceramic lining system is grouted into the bend casing with an acid resistant refractory cement capable of operating in temperatures up to 1250 degrees centigrade

ó CEROXALIDE Z3 is a non porous engineering grade ceramic, offerning moderate thermal shock capability, good abrasion resistance and excellent chemical resistant properties.
ó The wear resistance of a CEROXALIDE Z3 can be approximately 30 times that of cast iron.
ó CERAXALIDE Z3 is unaffected by most chemicals and acids.

ó CEROXALIDE Z3 lined pipe work can be used for temperature applications of up to 1350 degrees Centigrade.
ó The thermal shock resistance of CEROXALIDE Z3 is much lower than RESILIDE and must not be used in situations where temperature increase/decrease is greater that 200 degrees Centigrade per hour .
