KATIE MANN WOMEN’S FOOTBALL COACH & SpORT LECTURERKatie has enjoyed great success since taking the reins of the women’s football team in2008! Together with three league titles, Katie has guided the side to success on foreignsoil, winning the Easter Cup in Holland against tough opponents from across Europe.More recently, the women’s football team have triumphed at the Great YarmouthSoccer Challenge.

CARL WILDFOOTBALL DEvELOpMENT COACH & SpORT LECTURERCarl is a UEFA B and FA Module 3 licensed coach who has a wealth of experienceunder his belt. The former Wigan Athletic & Crewe Alexandra centre of excellencecoach also boasts 10 years’ experience working on Manchester United soccerschools all around the world. Carl has recently enjoyed the role of North WestColleges’ coach.

GARETH HAYES RUGBY DEvELOpMENT COACH & SpORT LECTURERGareth came through the academy ranks at Salford Red Devils before enjoyingspells at Oldham Roughyeds and Rochdale Hornets. The Level 2 Rugby FootballLeague (RFL) and recognised RFL tutor has been at the College eight years. In2013/14, Gareth guided the College’s rugby team to the North West cup final and thenational cup semi-final.

WARREN TURLEYSUpER LEAGUE OFFICIAL & SpORT LECTURERWarren is a Grade 1 qualified referee and touch judge for Super League andInternational competition. The highlight of his career so far is officiating inthree Rugby League World Cup games in 2013. Closer to home, Warrenenjoyed the role of touch judge in front of 33,000 fans at the 2012 MagicWeekend finale between Wigan Warriors and St Helens.
