CENTRE FOR ADVANCED FACULTY TRAINING

ON ORGANIC FARMING,

MAHARANA PRATAP UNIVERSITY OF AGRICULTURE AND TECHNOLOGY,

UDAIPUR, RAJASTHAN

Introduction: Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology was set up in the

year 1999 at Udaipur. It has 6 constituent colleges in the field of Agriculture, Fisheries,

Engineering, Dairy and Community & Applied Science. It has two Agricultural Research

Stations at Udaipur & Banswara and two Agricultural Research Sub-stations at Vallabhnagar

& Pratapgarh. It has 7 KVKs in its domain.

Centre of Advanced Faculty Training on Organic Farming was started in 2017-18 at

MPUAT, Udaipur. Since then centre has contributed immensely in training faculty from

different parts of the country to strengthen human resource in the field of Organic Farming.

Objectives of the CAFT:

1. To update the professional skills of teachers, researchers and extension specialists

in the latest knowledge and techniques in the field of organic farming.

2. To enhance capacity building of the scientists of different ICAR institutes and

SAU’s.

f. Foreign Visits & Oral Presentation in International Conference
