Need of registration
It is mandatory for every Ayurveda graduate to be registered with any state board to practice after obtaining B.A.M.S. degree and completing compulsory internship.
Without registration you are not allowed to do practice Most of the time our graduates opt for the registration from
the state which they graduated or their native state mentioning home address as the practicing address. (This is a generalised pattern)
Because of so many reasons, one settled at different address or even at different part of the country.

Status of Registration
Law says- “it is mandatory to be registered with the state board of your practicing place”.
If a person practices in two or more different sates, has to be registered with all the respective states?
But it creates a lot of problem and confusion among the practicing Vaidyas so CCIM amended this law and solution comes in the form of-Central registration

Is it mandatory to re-register if applying for job in a state other than his own state?
It depend upon state to state about eligibility having a clause to make it mandatory to be registered with that state only. May be because of some local laws.In such condition central registration doesn't guarantee for eligibility.

Status of a Person registered with a unified state after bifurcation of the board-eg.Uttrakhand, Chhatisgarh, Jharkhand etc with his central
registration
If the original board require renewal and proof of address is the same- no need of cancelling the registration until unless new board made it mandatory for registering with its body.
Uttrakhand board is forcing its practitioners for surrendering the old certificate and getting new registration.
It is against the CCIM central registration act.
