Thematic Objectives:
• (1) Business and SME development (Strategic objective A),
• (2) Support to education, research, technological development and innovation (Strategic objective A),
• (6) Environmental protection, climate change adaptation and disasters prevention/management (Strategic objective B), and
• (10) Promotion of border management and border security (Strategic objective C)
• Elements of theme 3 (culture& heritage) could be included in themes 1 & 2 and elements from theme 7 (accessibility, transport, communication newtworks) could be added to theme 10.

South-East Finland-Russia CBC-Programme 2014-2020 (ENI)• FUNDING• The allocation of programme funds should be
available in June/July from the European Commission.
• It is expected that the amount of funds will be approximately as in the current programme.
• Large Investment projects – max 30 % of EU funding– Mainly related to border crossing points
