SABO S.A for more than 20 years, is specialized in study, design, construction and erection of the majority of the machinery equipment necessary in all stages of cement production. An experienced team of mechanical, electrical engineers and draftsmen can give the right solutions and make the correct proposals to our customers. In our construction department we are in position to construct and erect any cement plant project.

Undertakes the construction of electrical boards and panels of cement projects in usage of drawings of its own engineering department. The company’s experienced engineers will provide to its customer useful suggestions and will design according to the customer’s special requirements.

Clinker Handling and Storage
In cement plant, two clinker silos have established with a storage capacity of 25,000 tn and 40,000 tn. The two silos are capable for feeding the cement mills with a capacity of 400 tn/h and the ships with a capacity of 1000tn/h.
This storage and handling system is consisted of:
• One concrete silo (40,000tn). • One concrete silo with metallic roof construction (25,000 tn). • Special extraction devices. • Bottom extraction bucket conveyors. • Clinker transportation line from belt conveyors of 400 tn/h for cement mills and 1000 tn/h for clinker loading ships.
• Special dedusting systems of bag filters have been installed at the crossing points of all lines.

with self-unloading ships through the pier. At the pier there is a movable hopper that feeds four belt conveyors with capacity of 500tn/h each. The cement additive storage is consisted by:
• One intermediate concrete wall, which separates the materials. The storage is in two sector-parts. • One tripper in the roof of the intermediate wall that feeds the two parts of the storage. • The roof of the storage is metallic construction. • Dedusting systems installed in all crossing points of belt conveyors lines.
In cement plant, installed a cover storage of 60,000tn for cement additives. All the additives arrive to the plant,

Cement Loading Systems
In a cement plant, there is an existing loading system at pier B with two belt conveyors of 120tn/h and 200 tn/h capacity. It have been replaced by a new system of 600 tn/h capacity. The new system is consisted of:
• Bucket elevator with 600tn/h capacity. • Airslide line with 600tn/h capacity. • One rotated crane with a loading system of one fixed screw conveyor and one with a movable screw conveyor. • Special dedusting systems of bag filters at the crossing points of the transportation line.
The new system achieved:
• Improvement of loading rate of 85%. • Reduction of energy consumption. • Reduction of pollution. • Reduction of maintenance cost. • Reduction of ship round trip time. • Reduction of total working hours with the use of dedusting systems in order to avoid pollution and to help the airslide
transportation system.

All cement plants in order to reduce the transportation and storage cost replace the old systems, usually the belt conveyors with new transportation lines.
The solution is the use of closed systems like airslides. With this systems are achieved:
• Very low operation cost. • Reduction of pollution. • Reduction of maintenance cost.
In many cement transportation belt conveyors, in order to avoid pollution, the use of reversing systems is also an environmental friendly solution.

The loading station consists of:
• Loading stand of 120tn/h capacity. • Automatically weighting system. • Truck weighing machine • Dedusting system.

All the cement plants use packing machines and also palletizing machines in order to deliver the cement to the clients.
Usually the packing machines have a capacity of 120tn/h and create bags of 25-30Kgr. All these bags are palletized with special palletizing machines in order to have more friendly and easy delivery.
For the above systems is necessary the use of special and automatically machines manufactured by European or American brands.

In nowadays, SABO S.A understanding the need for all cement companies to minimize the environmental pollution offers several solutions with dedusting systems. For more than 15 years experience, we have created a technical library with typical standard drawings for all kinds of safety devices and dedusting systems. Also several standard types of drawings for metallic constructions, belt conveyors, airslides, bucket elevators and all cement transportation machinery. The specific library give us the capability to minimize the engineering time and to reduce the delivery time of all projects.
