CEM-SIL SILICA FLOUR

Oil Well Cement Additive CEM-SIL is high purity micronized quartz powder (Silica dioxide). CEM-SIL is specially processed to specific size for addition to API cement and is used to stabilize cement systems at high temperatures. Product Specifications:

Functions:

CEM-SIL has the following benefits: Used to stabilize cement systems for high temperature wells (above 150C). Effectively prevents strength retrogression and the associated increase in permeability that occurs

in set cement at elevated temperatures. Cost effective additive

Recommended Treatment: CEM-SIL can be added in concentrations up to 50% by weight of cement depending on the specific requirements. To produce optimum properties, approximately 35% by weight is used. Normally CEM-SIL is dry blended with cement.

Packaging: Packaged in 25 and 50 kg multiwall paper sacks and in 1000 kg HDPE big bags. Legislation and Handling Recommendations: Not restricted by any regulatory agency. Refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for the product prior to use.
