• Plant and animal cells are similar. They both have a Nucleus, Cytoskeleton, Mitochondrion, Ribosome, Endoplasmic Reticulum, Golgi apparatus, and Lysosome.
• An animal cell has other things like multiple vacuoles, and centrioles.
• A plant cell has organelles like one large vacuole, a chloroplast, and a rigid cell wall.

• A cell is like a house because it has multiple functions and takes more than just one thing operate.
• A house is just as complex a structure as a cell is.

• Electricity powers the house and makes it so that the house can function its appliances.
• The mitochondrion are also called the “powerhouse” of the cell.
