Those Pesky VideosWhat follows is a summary of the videos obtained

by Center for Medical Progress during discussions with representatives of various Planned Parenthood cen-ters. The videos have been certified to be authentic. Even the firm hired by Planned Parenthood found no evidence of tampering. If you have not seen the videos, this ar-ticle will provide a brief glimpse into their content. The phrase “unedited videos” does not mean that the videos were altered—simply suspended while participants did such things as use the restroom.

In the first video: Dr. Deborah Nucatola of Planned Parenthood commented on baby-crushing: “We’ve been very good at getting heart, lung, liver, because we know that, so I’m not gonna crush that part, I’m gonna basical-ly crush below, I’m gonna crush above, and I’m gonna see if I can get it all intact.”

In the second video: Planned Parenthood’s Dr. Mary Gatter joked, “I want a Lamborghini” as she negotiated the best price for baby parts.

In the third video: Holly O’Donnell, a former Stem Express employee who worked inside a Planned Parent-hood clinic, detailed first-hand the unspeakable atrocities and how she fainted in horror over handling baby legs.

In the fourth video: Planned Parenthood’s Dr. Savita Ginde stated, “We don’t want to do just a flat-fee (per baby) of like, $200. A per-item thing works a little better, just because we can see how much we can get out of it.” She also laughed while looking at a plate of fetal kid-neys that were “good to go.”

In the fifth video: Melissa Farrell of Planned Parenthood-Gulf Coast in Houston boasted of Planned Parent-hood’s skill in obtaining “intact fetal

The lead investigator behind the undercover Planned Parenthood videos faces up to 20 years in prison af-

ter a Houston grand jury decided on January 25 not to charge Planned Parenthood with any wrongdoing—and instead indicted him for offering to purchase human or-gans from the abortion provider.

Center for Medical Progress (CMP) lead investigator David Daleiden faces a second-degree felony charge of

CMP defended itself from the allegations Monday evening. "We respect the processes of the Harris Coun-ty District Attorney, and note that buying fetal tissue requires a seller, as well," the group said. "Planned Par-enthood still cannot deny the admissions from their lead-ership about fetal organ sales captured on video for all the world to see."

In the sixth video: Holly O’Donnell described techni-cians taking fetal parts without patient consent: “There were times when they would just take what they wanted. And these mothers don’t know. And there’s no way they would know.”

In the seventh and perhaps most disturbing video: Holly O’Donnell described the harvesting, or “procure-ment,” of organs from a nearly intact late-term fetus aborted at Planned Parenthood Mar Monte’s Alameda clinic in San Jose, CA: “‘You want to see something kind of cool,’” O’Donnell says her supervisor asked her. “And she just taps the heart, and it starts beating. And I’m sit-ting here and I’m looking at this fetus, and its heart is beating, and I don’t know what to think.”

In the eighth video: StemExpress CEO Cate Dyer admits Planned Parenthood sells “a lot of” fully intact aborted babies.

The ninth video: catches a Planned Parenthood med-ical director discussing how the abortion company sells fully intact aborted babies—including one who “just fell out” of the womb.

The 10th video: catches the nation’s biggest abortion business selling specific body parts—including the heart,

David honed his talent in the late 80s at the famous Second City School of Improvisational Comedy in Chicago. It was there that he learned to think quickly on his feet and respond to his audience. He was so well-received the first time he spoke at a LIFESPAN dinner, that we have had repeated requests to bring him back. We are pleased to provide this opportunity.

Supreme Court Turns Back North Dakota and Arkansas Pro-Life Laws

The Supreme Court is refusing to allow the state of North Dakota to ban abortions done

on unborn babies after six weeks of pregnancy. The high court turned away North Dakota’s appeal of a lower court decision overturning the abortion ban the state legislature approved.

The decision is not surprising given the high court still has a pro-abortion majority that support Roe v. Wade, which allows virtually unlimited abortions throughout pregnancy and essentially prevents states from protecting most unborn children.

The law was meant to ban abor-tion when the unborn baby’s heart-beat begins but would have been applied at six weeks of pregnancy.

The justices on January 25 turned away the state’s appeal of lower court rulings that struck down the 2013 fetal heartbeat law as unconsti-tutional. The law never took effect, and abortion rights supporters said it was the strictest anti-abortion measure in the country.

The high court last week rejected Arkansas’ bid to enforce its own fetal heartbeat law, banning some abortions at 12 weeks.

The judges said the laws were inconsistent with the standard set by the Supreme Court that gen-erally ties abortion restrictions to the viability of the fetus. But the judges urged the Supreme Court to re-evaluate its abortion cases to take account of changes in medi-cine and science, and the wishes of elected state lawmakers. The current framework “discounts the legisla-tive branch’s recognized interest in protecting unborn children,” Judge Bobby Shepherd wrote for the panel, which also included Judges William Benton and Lavenski Smith.

North Dakota’s Republican-dom-inated legislature approved the law in 2013, though it was quickly put on hold after the state’s lone abor-tion clinic, in Fargo, filed a lawsuit that July.

5LIFESPAN NEWS F February/March 2016

By Steven Ertelt

Last year, during the height of the scandal involving multiple videos

catching Planned Parenthood selling the body parts of aborted babies, LifeNews.com reported how copies of the unreleased Center for Medical Progress videos catching Planned Par-enthood and other abortion industry leaders selling aborted babies and their body parts had been leaked to the public.

The leaked videos contain footage filmed at a conference of the National Abortion Federation (NAE), a trade group of abortion clinic owners and abortionists. There, Renee Chelian, who owns the Northland Family Plan-ning chain of abortion clinics, which do about 25 percent of the abortions in Michigan, talked about the problems she had disposing the bodies of abort-ed babies after the medical recycling company Stericycle stopped provided service to her abortion facilities.

Chelian talks about how she had the bodies of five months worth of aborted babies in freezers at her abortion clinics and no idea what to do with them.

Students for Life of America has put together a montage www.breitbart.com/big-government/2015/12/30/abortion-provider-fetal-remains-put-gift-bag/ of some of the footage from Chelian and her comments are chilling:

In the video, Renee Chelian, a Michigan abortion provider, tells an audience of a NAF workshop:

“We thought we’ll give it [the fetal remains] to everybody in a gift bag, they can take it home, figure out what to do with it. It’s their pregnancy—why is this our problem? And I’m saying that in all seriousness.”

Chelian continues: “Nobody wants to talk about

dead bodies, nobody but me. There was a point when Ste-ricycle fired us that I had five months worth of fetal tissue in my freezers and we were renting freezers to put them in.

So, all I thought about, I was so consumed with fetal tissue, I was ready to drive to upper Michigan and have a bonfire. And, I was just trying to figure out, you know, how I wouldn’t get stopped or how far in the woods would I have to go to have this fire that nobody was going to see me.

And the garbage disposal was an option, I mean, there was a point that I actually hired someone from another clinic to come in and take 20 bottles and put it into my garbage disposal.

Referring to pro-life activists as “the antis,” Chelian says dis-posing of fetal remains must be done “in secret”:

When we sent to another state, it became the whole issue of, do we tell FedEx what they’re picking up? How long will it take for the antis to figure it out? And, if we don’t tell them, what if there’s a bad snow storm, like there was this winter, and UPS got delayed, or FedEx gets delayed and their truck starts stinking…I mean, every state law is different. I know when I wanted to actually put the fetal tissue in my car and drive to the crematorium, in Illinois, I was advised by my attorneys that I was breaking several state laws and that, that really wasn’t a good idea. Although, I have a good friend in another state who is currently driving across two states, once a month, with fetal tissue to go to a funeral home and they have an arrangement to send out for cremation. But everything is secret so it’s really scary.”

Listen to the comments here:http://www.lifenews.com/2016/01/04/abortionist-we-should-send-aborted-ba-bies-home-with-mom-their-pregnancy-their-problem/—Edited from LifeNews.com, January 4, 2016

Abortionist Admits: We Stored Five Months Worth of Aborted Babies in the Freezer

eyes and “gonads” of unborn babies. The video also shows the shocking ways in which Planned Parenthood officials admit that they are breaking federal law by selling aborted baby body parts for profit.

Unreleased Videos: Unreleased videos from CMP show Deb Vander-hei of Planned Parenthood caught on tape talking about how Planned Par-enthood’s abortion business affiliates may “want to increase revenue [from selling baby parts] but we can’t stop them…” Another video has a wom-an talking about the “financial incen-tives” of selling aborted baby body parts.

The 11th video: catches a Tex-as Planned Parenthood abortionist planning to sell the intact heads of aborted babies for research. Amna Dermish is caught on tape describ-ing an illegal partial-birth abortion procedure to terminate living, late-term unborn babies which she hopes will yield intact fetal heads for brain harvesting.

The full, unedited videos have confirmed that revelations that some aborted baby remains sold by Planned Parenthood go to biotech companies for the purpose of creat-ing “humanized” mice. Meanwhile, Planned Parenthood has been ex-posed as having sold body parts from aborted babies for as much as 15 years.

The federal law that technically prohibits the sale of aborted babies and their body parts was written by a pro-abortion Congressman de-cades ago and essentially spells out a process by which sellers of aborted baby body parts can meet certain cri-teria that allows the sales to be legal. That’s why a Colorado congressman has introduced legislation to totally ban the sales of aborted baby body parts.

Successful Luminary MemorialThank you to everyone who

participated in our luminary me-morial on January 21-22.

Each candle lit throughout the night created awareness of the nearly 59 million lives lost through abortion in the United States since the decision of Roe v. Wade on January 22, 1973.

Thank you to all who wrapped kits, distributed them and to all who lit them on their porches or front walks!

Well Said!Being against abortion is so much more than sim-

ply being against the legalized killing of innocent hu-man beings.

It's about being against the lie that women aren't free unless they have the "right" to kill their children.

It's about being against a culture which shames motherhood and rejoices in sexual objectification.

It’s about refusing to accept that fertility is regard-ed and treated as a disease to be medicated and cured.

It’s about refusing to accept violence as a proposed solution to the problems we face.

It’s about feminism. It’s because Susan B. Anthony, Elizabeth Cady Stan-

ton, Alice Paul, and many other women’s rights activists of old who fought and sacrificed so much for the things we take for granted today saw clearly that abortion was violence, that abortion was anti-woman and vehemently opposed it.

“I’m pro-life because babies don’t deserve to die for the sake of a society which undervalues women and womanhood. I’m pro-life because women deserve better than abortion.” —Tori Long, New Wave Feminists

That Was The Week That WasWell, by now you probably all know that we

had to cancel our Movement in Motion bus trip to Washington, DC. It was an extremely difficult deci-sion to make but, in the end, we made the right one.

If you have been reading LIFESPAN’s page on Facebook, you will see all the buses that were strand-ed on the highways into and out of Washington, DC. That would have been us. Our host churches were encouraging us to stay home because they were not sure if their power would go out, if the crews that were going to prepare meals for our travelers would be able to get to the churches or if food delivery to the churches would be impacted.

All the venues we planned to visit were closed. Just think of it—440 teens and their chaperones stranded in the snow, no food, little water and nowhere to go. Playing in the snow is fun for only just so long and then the cold and wet take over.

Much thoughtful consideration and prayer went into the decision, and while there were many who were disappointed, at least they were warm and dry and not in a bus with no heat!

Christmas Cards and Entertainment BooksA huge thank you goes out to all of you who helped with the Christmas cards and Entertainment books

this year. Folks look forward to our cards, and we do our best to pick designs that are appealing. We will do it again next Christmas, so if you would like to join in, call us at the office and we can explain how it works and get you started.

LIFESPAN on Facebook Some of you may not know that LIFESPAN has a

Facebook page. We don’t take pictures of what we are having for lunch, but we do post many, many pro-life ar-ticles that those of you on Facebook can share with your friends. It is truly amazing how far and wide Facebook postings travel. It is an easy way to spread the pro-life message.

What Do We Know?“You may choose to look the other way, but you can

IN LOVING MEMORY

The love of a new daddy, who is struggling to provide for and learn how to care for his motherless son—

The love of a grand-mother, who needed pictures and information ASAP to convince her daughter that the baby she was planning to abort was not a blob of tissue—

The love of a mother, who spends days at the hospital with her two-pound little miracle—

The love of an elderly lady living in the inner city, who has devoted her life to helping pregnant girls in desperate situations—

The love of a mother, who struggles every day to care for her little guy with Down Syndrome—

These are not the images that come to mind as we speak of love at Valentine’s Day. Nor are they events for which Hallmark creates a card—but they are some of the purest forms of love.

And thanks to you—all of these people do feel loved. They feel it when they receive warm blankets and tiny clothing for their little ones. They feel it when they know we truly care when we give them resources to contact

for parenting classes, ultrasounds, WIC that provides formula and food, specific organizations, etc. They feel it when they know that strangers are praying for them and their precious babies.

So much more than a Valentine card—your love touches so many every day at Wee Care! And speaking of love—thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you do! Love, Karen

Dear Movement in Motion Participant,For decades, Right to Life - LIFESPAN has worked to

protect the lives of all people—including yours and your childrens’. Being true to our mission played a huge part in the decision to cancel our 2016 Movement in Motion bus trip to Washington, DC for the March for Life. This was the most difficult decision I have ever had to make in the 45 years I have worked with LIFESPAN.

It was a decision made after conferring with many people including Lynn Gura, Diane Trombley, the Board of LIFESPAN, our host churches in Washington, DC as well as family members living in DC. The storm was predicted to be large and dangerous, with high winds. When snow comes to DC, their response is not anything like here in Detroit. They do not have the same number of plows, salt for the roads or power grids. The city basi-cally shuts down, no public buildings are open, schools are closed and warnings by authorities are given to stay off the streets. My niece, who lives in the DC area, told me that they were already warned that schools may be shut down for a week.

Even if we got there safely, there were three major concerns we would still face. Our host churches were re-luctant to have us stay with them as planned because of the storm and possible power outages. What would we do if our nine buses and 450 participants were stranded by the snow with nowhere to shelter? We could not turn around and go home right after the March because fed-eral transportation regulations require that bus drivers have a certain number of hours out of the bus and off the

road between shifts, to say nothing of the fact that we would then be driving directly into the storm. So with a heavy heart, I canceled the trip—our only canceled trip since the first March in 1974.

I can only imagine how disappointed you were, how you were looking forward to a great pro-life experience, but your safety came first. I hope that you will not be too discouraged and will consider attending next year. We can never predict the weather and the March is always in January. Could it happen again? Perhaps, but this is the first time in 43 years we have had to cancel so the odds are in our favor.

This will be a tremendous monetary loss for LIFES-PAN. The cost to us from the bus company for this trip was $52,390. They will return only $26,195 to us leaving an expense of $26,195 to LIFESPAN’s Movement in Motion for the balance, but you and your children’s safety can-not be measured in dollars and cents.

11LIFESPAN NEWS F February/March 2016

What's the Concern About Funding Girl Scout Councils and GSUSA?

o Girl Scouts’ curriculum for girls, sold and promoted by every local Girl Scout council, recommends pro-abortion role models/organizations such as Betty Friedan, Gloria Steinem, Geraldine Ferraro, Hillary Clinton, Amnesty Intl., Population Council, ACLU, and National Organization For Women.

o Local Girl Scout councils and Girl Scouts USA (GSUSA) honor and promote abortion rights advocates and pro-abortion politicians including Nancy Pelosi, Barbara Mikulski, Sheila Jackson Lee, Barbara Lee, Kathleen Sebelius, and Wendy Davis among many others.

o GSUSA confirms that its local councils and troops may collaborate with Planned Parenthood. o GSUSA is the largest member organization of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts

(WAGGGS), providing 2.6 million of its 10 million girl and adult members worldwide and paying approximately 1.5 million dollars annually to WAGGGS based on the number of registered GSUSA members.

o WAGGGS, which states that "anyone who is a Girl Guide or Girl Scout is automatically a member of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts," aggressively promotes youth reproductive/abortion and sexual rights, specifically on behalf of its 10 million members.

o GSUSA maintains memberships in abortion rights advocacy groups, including the Coalition for Adolescent Girls. Other organizations working alongside GSUSA in these groups include abortion providers International Planned Parenthood Federation and Marie Stopes International, and numerous organizations that push for unrestricted abortion rights.

Pro-life and Religious Organizations Expressing Concern

o Pro-life groups communicating concerns include National Right to Life, Missouri Right to Life, Oregon Right to Life, Pro-life Waco, and others.

o Catholic dioceses sharing concerns include Diocese of Colorado Springs, Diocese of Springfield-Cape Girardeau, Archdiocese of St. Louis, and Archdiocese of Kansas City, KS.

Where Does The Cookie Money Go?

o A girl's troop keeps an average of just 10 to 20 percent of the money she collects from selling cookies. o The local council receives an average of 65 to 75 percent of the money collected by all local troops. o GSUSA collects a royalty payment based upon its licensed trademark on every box of cookies

produced. With approximately 200 million boxes of cookies sold annually, this amounts to millions of dollars of funding for GSUSA every year.
