WHAT’S NEW2

LivingKhun akorn Saw Tongsai Bay from the sea and declared that it was "love at first sight"

The Tongsai Bay proudly celebrated 30 years of living with nature on 9th July, 2017 & to celebrate this very special occasion we thought we’d tell you little bit of history of where it all began…

The story of The Tongsai Bay began in 1985, when the late Khun Akorn Hoontrakul, then chairman of The Imperial Family of Hotels, saw Tongsai Bay from the sea and declared that it was love at first sight. Seven days later Khun Akorn purchased the land. For three months he slept on the beach, dreaming of his ideal resort, and began to draw up plans for the location of the cottage suites, each of which was to be constructed without cutting down a single tree and with minimal damage to the beautiful natural surroundings.

The Tongsai Bay opened its doors in July 1987 and became the first five-star luxury

hotel on Koh Samui, under the umbrella of The Imperial Family of Hotels. Following a period of illness in 1993, Khun Akorn decided to sell the hotel group to a Thai tycoon, retaining only The Tongsai Bay, where he vowed to live out the rest of his life with his beloved wife Khun Chompunute.

In 2000 Khun Akorn passed away and management of The Tongsai Bay passed to the capable hands of his son, Thanakorn Hoontrakul(Gob), and his daughter in law, Saisiri(Goya) who shares Akorn’s passion for the environment and for providing the highest standards of hospitality and service. Under their watchful eye, The Tongsai Bay has continued to grow from strength to strength developing its own ‘Green Project’ and working with other local hoteliers to preserve the island’s natural environment for future generations to come…

THE LOBBYOur lobby has seen a complete redesign in which we worked closely with designers, stylists and contractors to ensure recycled woods, doors and furnishing could be used to support our continued effort to be environmentally responsible. Feature decorative work on our Reception and Bar areas were hand made using coconut shell, a product of huge abundance here in Thailand.

We now welcome into our Lobby area the Gift Shop and we have created a Lobby Bar for those that wish to sit back and relax and take in the unimpeded view. The lotus pond was designed to wrap around the balcony and allowed us to remove the previous railings that caused visual barriers. It now feels like the greater outdoors is inside along the whole terrace area.

Over 90 display cabinets now sit in the lobby, many filled with items sourced from our garden and beach and of course a few awards scattered amongst them.

PO-LAD KITCHENTo the delight of our culinary team, Po-Lad Beach Bistro now boasts a complete gleaming new kitchen, again designed from scratch. This kitchen now allows better work flow and the addition of a specialized cold kitchen area will facilitate more diversity in our future menus.

A very special thanks must be given to our designers, stylists and contractors who worked tirelessly to deliver both projects right on time.

It was a weekend of celebrations at The Tongsai Bay. An exclusive 30th Anniver-sary ‘Celebration of Nature’ event on the eve of July 8th 2017 featured a live vocal performance and mini-concert by Issarn Soul ‘Rasmee Wayrana’ tantalizing canapés and special 30th anniversary cocktails by Iron Balls Gin.

Our Bar-B-Q buffet offered guests a variety of fresh seafood, delicious Thai dishes, salads, soups, pastas, sushi & sashimi, &

their own choice of grills cooked for them right on the spot; Our ‘Year One: A Taste of Yesteryear’ corner was also on offer where our Executive Chef, Thanawut Chaiwanwut handpicked a selection of dishes from our very first menu here at The Tongsai Bay back in 1987 for guests to enjoy.

Along with our Bar-B-Q, guests also en-joyed live music from ‘Soul How Band’ who added a fun & lively atmosphere to this very special evening.

Every little bit helps – a Guide to Green at Home.

Below are hints that you may be able to adopt in your day to day life to help preserve our environment. As we say – every little bit helps.

Use a water bottle and fill it from your faucet (not in Thailand, here we use a filtered large recycled water dispenser) rather than buying individual bottles of water.

This practice helps to conserve water, eliminate additional manufacture of plastics and reduces trash disposed in landfills

Go to the car wash (if they recycle their water) or wash your car on the grass not your driveway.

This practice prevents grimy road dirt, salts and soap from moving with the wash water down the driveway and into the storm drain

that empties into a stream or river

Sweep dirt and fertilizer from your sidewalk and driveway back into your yard with a broom

Hosing dirt and fertilizer off hard surfaces flushes it directly into the storm drains and eventually into creek, streams and rivers.

Dispose of any hazardous household products or chemicals at approved hazardous waste collection sites

Emptying such products on the ground, down the sink or toilet or into storm drains directly pollutes our water and environment

Recycle your used motor oil at service stations in your community that accept used oil

Never pour oil or automotive fluids down storm drains or onto the ground where

they will enter creeks, streams, rivers or groundwater

Purchase products that are recyclable and reusable, and recycle these products such as cardboard, paper, plastic, aluminum and glass

Products that are recyclable use less resources when reused and don’t go to the landfill

Collect grass clippings and leaves and start a compost pile as compost is an excellent soil conditioner for flower and vegetable gardens and a beneficial way to dispose of yard waste

Never use storm drains, lakes, or water ways to dispose of yard wastes as this adds unwanted nutrients that contaminate our water.

Separate Rubbish – Recycle and Reuse.

At the completion of the class, relax and enjoy your Thai cooking at our Chef Chom's Restaurant and for those cooking alone you are most welcome to invite a partner to dine with you

Stars, sand, popcorn and a movie – it’s not your traditional movie night out but one that many remember as a special holiday moment. Weekly movies exchange between latest releases & classics that can be enjoyed stretching out on a sun lounger or lounging on traditional Thai cushions & bean bags. To remind you of being in Thailand complimentary popcorn is offered in both chili and butter options. Should you wish to enjoy a beverage or two our bar staff are on standby to wait on you….a perfect way to enjoy a movie Tongsai style.

Check your WOW timetable in your room for the time, date & movies being shown during your stay.

Please note that if the weather is unfavorable we may not be able to proceed with the evening’s movie.

Reservations not required, stroll down and join on the evening at the beach.

Movie night on the beach and under the stars

It is almost impossible to miss one of these two characters at breakfast when passing the fruit and juice station - Khun Poo and Khun Jee have a combined 47 years working at The Tongsai Bay and they specialize in the areas of fruits and vegetables, salad, juices, Thai cold foods and of course fruit carving.Considering the fact they also combine 20 perfectly intact fingers after these 44 years, there is simply no better hands to be in than these 2 ladies to learn to carve fruit and vegetables. From table centerpieces of watermelon flowers to plate garnishing, they can teach creations to impress friends, family or add a special touch to a dinner party. Please check your WOW timetable in your room as we request bookings for this class in advance.

Thai food is renowned for its use of fragrant herbs and spices. The cooking of the majority of Thai dishes starts with the preparation of all ingredients followed by the widely used method of fast high heat cooking.

The Tongsai cooking class is conducted by our Senior Thai Chefs as we believe there is no better way to understand the properties of Thai cuisine than from the people that were born and bred eating it and now also cooking it daily.

Only 3 minutes from the resort is our own Organic Garden where our gardening team grow a variety of produce that is utilized within our restaurants. Walk with our Chefs as they explain the different uses of fruits, vegetables, herbs and spices and collect what is seasonally available for use in your class.

Cooking Class

On return to the resort the cooking class starts with a demonstration of how to make your own curry paste from scratch for those truly adventurous that wish to practice it at home. Once complete your Chef will take you through the step by step process of cooking a 4 course Thai meal including a curry from the demonstrated paste making session. The most important factor of all in Thai cooking is the balance of 4 areas – spice, salt, sour and sweet which our Chefs will guide you in.

At the completion of the class, relax and enjoy your Thai cooking at our Chef Chom’s Restaurant and for those cooking alone you are most welcome to invite a partner to dine with you.

Note – classes are limited in size of participants. Please check your WOW timetable for dates and times.

A variety of dining events run throughout the year at The Tongsai Bay with the aim of spicing up your dining options. From the grand and extensive Beach BBQ to the simplicity of a dining a’la carte in Chef Choms with a solo Thai folk song singer we trust there is something for everyone to enjoy. Please check your WOW (What’s on Weekly) timetable in your room for evenings and locations where you can dine with a difference.

Beach BQQThe ‘grandaddy’ of dining events is the Beach BBQ at Po-Lad with a plethora of food and feel good live entertainment. Sushi, Thai and Western salads, appetizers and soups are the warm up act that lead you on to the main event of Thai Stir fry’s and curries, oven roasted meats and trimmings, barbecued meats and of course Barbequed Seafood’s - fresh fish, crab, squid and rock lobster. The finale is an array of desserts and cheeses.

Thai Cultural NightDine and immerse yourself in Thai culture amongst traditional Thai dancers and

musicians. Our Chef’s offer an extensive Thai buffet with live cooking stations to guide you on a culinary journey across the 4 regions of Thailand – North, North East, Central and Southern. (Please note that in the more quiet periods an option to the buffet will be offered, please check your WOW)

MEGA PLATTER with Fire ShowMEGA PLATTER which comes in the choices of Seafood, Meat and Vegetarian - designed for sharing; Also enjoy a spectacular fire show on the beach (MEGA PLATTER with Fire Show is available when season and occupancy allows, please check your WOW)

Thai Folk MusicianIt’s not that often you see non-Thai’s listening to Thai Folk Music if you visit most venues around that play it, however, this is real Thailand lifestyle music. Most who go to see Folk singers enjoy their music slowly snacking on different dishes for hours and certainly enjoying a drink or two.

So dine differently at Chef Chom’s with our a la carte menu and our Thai Folk solo musician.

Ra Naad InstrumentalistThe Ra Naad is a Thai name for a xylophone type instrument. Dine a la carte in Chef Chom’s and enjoy this melodic traditional music by a live instrumentalist. Please check your WOW for times when the Ra Naad will be playing.

Full MoonSome claim the full moon effects behavior – this could perhaps be proven true here at The Tongsai Bay where the Po-Lad team of Chef’s decide to introduce the SPECIAL FULL MOON MENU. We highly recommend those wishing to dine on the Full Moon night to arrive at Po-Lad at 19.00hrs or soon after to get the best effects of the moonlight dancing across the water to you. Please note our standard a’la’carte menu is also available on this evening.

Koh Samui lies 35 kilometres off Suratthani, the provincial capital, and about 700 kilometres south of Bangkok. It is the 3rd largest island in Thailand and was discovered several hundred years ago by fishermen and sea traders whilst sailing through the Gulf of Thailand. Chinese and Malay fisherman enjoyed many of the bays of Koh Samui and it is widely believed the name of the island derives from the word “saboey”, which means “safe haven” in the Chinese tongue. “Koh” is the Thai word for “island”. Maps of the island date as far back as the 17th century but there is very little documented history. Samui is 21 kilometers at its widest point and 25 at its longest with one major road ‘ring road/, which circumvents the island. Until 1940, there were no roads or vehicles on Koh Samui. People moved around the island on foot or followed the coastline by boat. Below is a list of places that you may enjoy discovering while holidaying here…

Wat Khao Hua Jook (วัดเขาหัวจุก)Wat Kao Hua Jook looks like a big golden bell atop a lush green hill that towers off Koh Samui airport. Not a hugely popular temple for tourists, as it is not sign posted, and unless you are in or on a vehicle the 90 meter walk straight up hill can be a bit too much on a hot Samui day. We’d recommend a visit even if you do have to do it on foot; it’s worth it for the superb 360 degree views from the coastline to interior. The temple is a lovely peaceful place, with lots of seated areas to sit and enjoy watching the planes coming in and going. One of the best times to visit is sunset, spectacular!

Beverley Hills View Point (จุดชมวิว)From the view point you can see the Gulf of Siam spread out before you and the 7 km Chaweng Beach. The first land you would come across over the horizon is The Philippines. You will notice many spirit houses along the side of the road and how the drivers “honk” their horns when they pass. It is for good luck!

Hin Ta and Hin Yai (หินตา หินยาย)These two strange rock formations are known as Grandfather and Grandmother Rock and are situated a few kilometers south west of Lamai. These two ancient stones have been slowly molded by sea, wind and rain into representations of male

OUT & ABOUT

and female genitalia. Their formation and shape have been personified into a local tale describing their existence on the island. The story is that of two doomed lovers who drowned themselves at sea because of their family’s disapproval of their relationship. In Thai “hin” means “rock”, “ta” means “grandfather” and “yai” means “grandmother”.

Wat Khunaram (วัดคุณาราม)Wat Khunaram is Samui’s famous shrine to the mummified monk, known when alive as Lung Padaeng. This highly respected monk was carefully preserved when he died in 1973 and today sits mediating inside a glass case. You can see nearby the ancient numerology sticks, which are used to read your fortune.

Muslim village (หมู่บ้านมุสลิม)Ha Thanon better known as “the Muslim Village” is the beacon for fishermen living in a time warp. The village is accessible by a path linked to the main road. The fishermen in the village still build their boats by hands, using traditional colors and natural painting, repairing the nets under trees by hands in the calmest environment.

The Magic Garden (น้าตกตานิ่ม)The Magic Garden is not a temple but feels like one. It is located high in the hills above Baan Saket in the southwest of Samui up a winding road that leads from the main road through a military zone to one of Samui’s most attractive and bizarre sights. In a small valley, a 77-year-old Buddhist devotee, Khun Nim Thong-suk, began creating figures from his dreams and was still working on the garden when he died a few years ago at the age of 91. Uncle Nim’s statues are a sight to behold as are the views from this spectacular mountain location.

Na Muang Waterfalls (น้าตกหน้าเมือง)Although Samui has several waterfalls, the two Na Muang waterfalls are probably the islands most stunning. The name Na Muang (meaning purple in Thai) refers to the massive purple rocks that create the waterfalls. Rocks and tree roots form a natural staircase that leads to the base of Na Muang 1. A large natural swimming pool sits under the waterfall, although beware of the hidden rocks when diving and swimming. The water is always cool so it’s perfect for a hot day. A gentle walk 10 minutes further up the mountain leads you to Samui’s most

beautiful waterfall, Na Muang 2. Na Muang waterfalls are easily accessible from the main ring road between Nathon and Lamai and are well signposted.

Boy’s Organic Coffee - Thong KrutKeep your eyes peeled for this compact coffee spot situated along the beach at Thong Krut. The hunt for Boy’s Organic Coffee is well worth it, for it is known to serve up some of the best coffees on the island. The excellent brews, made from top-quality beans from Chiang Mai, produce cups of coffee with a caramel flavour, made all the more better with the addition of creamy milk. If coffees are not to your fancy, a good selection of teas and juices are also on offer.

Hin Lad Waterfall (น้าตกหินลาด)Popular with Thai visitors, these high falls cascade down the hillside just south of Nathon. The climb to the top is quite steep and takes around 40 minutes but once there you are treated to a truly tropical experience with roaming jungle scenery and the spectacular power of the falls. Can disappoint during the dry season due to lack

of rain. There is an interesting forest temple at the base of the falls accessed by a small bridge.

Nathon (pronounced NaaTon) (ตลาดหน้าทอน)This is the island’s main administrative centre and Samui’s only official town. All government offices, banks as well as the main ferry pier are located in Nathon making it the most important place for communication with the Thai mainland. Shopping is less expensive there and not so touristy. Best viewed in the morning, Nathon’s wet market is typically local selling fresh fruit, vegetables, seafood as well as a large selection of Thai spices and cooking ingredients. Nathon, over the years, has not changed like other places and still has a number of original teak shop houses lining the quiet middle roads, which display the more traditional Chinese influence.

Big Buddha - Wat Phra Yai (วัดพระใหญ่)The number one sightseeing attraction on Samui is perhaps Wat Phra Yai where the famous golden Buddha statue graces the headland separating Baan Plai Laem from Big Buddha beach. The 15 meter smiling

ON KOH SAMUI.

deity dominates the temple grounds and offers some excellent photo opportunities, particularly at sunset. The temple was built in 1972 and the upper platform is lined with huge prayer bells. In Thai “phra” means “monk” and “yai” means “big”.

Plai Laem Temple (วัดปลายแหลม)Wat Plai Laem is a Buddhist temple compound only 2KM from The Tongsai Bay, featuring a striking white 18-arm image of Guanyin, the Goddess of Mercy and Compassion. Wat Plai Laem offers visitors a view into Chinese-Thai beliefs as well as some elaborate Buddhist-themed art and architecture.

Wat Plai Laem is a living and active temple, where devotees come daily to pay homage to Guanyin and the Buddha, who is also depicted in a number of statues and murals around the temple. This is a relatively new temple but the art techniques used in its creation are centuries-old and based on ancient beliefs. Adding to its feel of tranquility, the temple is surrounded by a lake, which is teeming with fish. Visitors who make a donation to the temple are given a small basket of food to feed the fish.

Chef Chom’s Thai RestaurantChef Chom’s was named after ‘the’ Chef Chom who was previously a Chef in the Thai Royal household and has trained over 500 chefs and cooks her illustrious career. After many years at The Tongsai Bay she has handed the skills of traditional Thai cuisine down to our current Chef Chom’s kitchen brigade lead by Senior Sous Chef, Chef Kak.

Geographically, Thais generally divide Thailand into four distinct regions:North (Nua), North Eastern (Issarn), Central (Klung) and the South (Dtai). The diversity of climate and topography from the temperate North to the tropical South is vast and therefore the abundance of different produce drives distinct styles and flavors from each region.

Traditionally the dishes of the North with its plentiful forests, game and favorable conditions leads to less extreme flavors then the other three regions, however, spice is still in full force.

Central Thailand with its influence of Bangkok, Royal Thai cuisine and delta country dominated by the Chao Phraya River and rich soil offers the style of cooking that most foreigners are accustomed with.

North Eastern food is very spicy but balanced with earthy herbs and due to the lack of variety of produce; a small amount of food is eaten with larger quantities of rice.

Here in the South, if you dare - take a step off the tourist track and you will quickly discover by the local Thai cuisine that Koh Samui is certainly part of Southern Thailand. Prior to refrigeration, the extreme warm weather of the tropical South dictated food ingredients for longevity of storage. Therefore the Southern traditional characteristics of food often (but not all) involve red hot chili spice and fermented or sundried products. Being in ‘The South’ Chef Chom’s offers a special Southern Way section on our menu.

The focus of Chef Chom’s is to provide traditional Thai cuisine that is authentic to the region in which it originated whilst using the highest quality of ingredients, presented in an eclectic style that draws on different flavors throughout the whole of Thailand.

Our Chef Choms’s Courtyard has a contemporary rustic Thai influence and we encourage the experience

of ‘Thai’ style dining. Thai dining is a concept where ‘starters’ and ‘mains’ merge and are placed in the center of the table and shared. The enjoyment of Thai style dining is experiencing many different flavours and textures, generally 4 dishes between 2 people are ordered with rice – even most soup dishes are enjoyed with rice. Thai dining is a great way to explore flavours and share your dining experience together and our wait staff are more than happy to guide you on this should you wish.

Organic rice 'Leb Nok' (Bird' s Claw Rice)

Our organic rice ‘Leb Nok’ (Bird’s Claw Rice) is available at both Chef Chom’s Thai Restaurant & Po-Lad Beach Bistro & Bar; we buy Leb Nok rice directly from the farmers in Pak Phanang Nakhon Si Thammarat in the South - Leb Nok is traditionally found in Southern Thailand & has been grown here for over 100 years. This particular strain of rice is very nutritious being high in fiber & rich in gamma amino butyric acid (GABA)

WE ALL HAVE A DREAM DESTINATION that we keep promising ourselves we’ll visit one day, and for Abbey and Scott, that was Thailand. “We have always wanted to go, so we thought, why not get married there?” says Abbey. “We did a lot of research and fell in love with Koh Samui.”

A breathtaking resort set within 28 acres of verdant jungle, The Tongsai Bay delivered everything the couple were looking for in a wedding venue. “We were amazed by the beautiful scenery, gorgeous weather and the sound of the waves crashing in the background,” says Abbey.

The Tongsai Bay’s private and peaceful beach was the perfect setting for Abbey and Scott’s vows. They sealed their love in front of an intimate group of 20 friends and family members. “I didn’t want to see my bride until the last moment, so I kept looking out at the sea to calm my nerves,” recalls Scott. “I could feel the warmth of the sun and the sound of the waves as I waited – it was incredible.”

After their emotional ceremony beneath a delicate arch of pink and white blossoms, the newlyweds joined their guests for a memorable reception where the drinks were flowing and the music had everyone in high spirits. “We had the Po-Lad Beach Bistro and Bar for the reception to ourselves and our guests,” says Abbey. “The food was amazing and we tried a little bit of everything – but the stir-fry cooked right in front of us by the chef was a real highlight of the night.”

The evening was full of laughter and heartfelt moments as the sun set on the sparkling waters of Koh Samui. “After we cut the cake, Scott and I sat on the beach with a glass of Champagne and watched all of our friends and family having fun,” says Abbey. “It was a day that not just us, but also our guests, will remember forever.”

How did you first hear about Tongsai Bay?Our first visit to Tongsai Bay was in 1996 when a work colleague suggested we might enjoy going there. We are forever grateful for their suggestion as we may never have discovered this beautiful Resort.

What are your first/early memories of Tongsai?Very much like our recent memories. Natural tranquil beauty, friendly staff and guests and unique luxurious accommodation. Our feeling at the time of our first visit and still to this day was just like what Khun Akorn experienced in 1986 “love at first sight”.

How many times have you stayed here?Nine times.

What is your favorite room(s) & why?Definitely 511! The wonderful view across the bay is absolutely beautiful. The two mango trees growing through the balcony are a reminder of Khun Akorn’s focus on preserving the natural vegetation and wildlife in the Bay.

Do you have a daily routine when here?No set daily routine at all, we just love to relax and enjoy our stay at Tongsai Bay. I am an early morning person and I love

Meet Karen & John Stone sitting on our verandah drinking a cup of coffee and watching the beautiful sunrise. John goes to the gym, which he enjoys as part of his daily routine. We then go for the wonderful buffet breakfast and always include a fresh fruit juice and a bowl of the delicious soup. The rest of the day is spent relaxing before going to the Happy Hour at Po-Lad bar. What’s your favorite meal/drink/restaurant/theme night? Our favorite meal is whole fried fish served at our favorite restaurant Po-Lad. We were amazed when the chef allowed us to watch the “deboning” in preparation for a wonderful meal. Karen’s favorite drink would be the Matai and John’s is a cold beer. We always enjoy Happy Hour at Po-Lad bar next to the beach under the stars. Awesome!

Most enjoyable/memorable thing about Tongsai?Everything about Tongsai Bay is memorable and pleasurable. Especially the friendliness of all the staff that provide excellent service. Our visits in 2015 and 2016 were wonderful in terms of the many other guests we met and were able to enjoy their company. Thanks to the internet we can still share their lives now. It proved to us that there are still wonderful people to be found in a sometimes unhappy world.

Our feeling at the time of our first visit and still to this day was just like what Khun Akorn experienced in 1986 "love at first sight"

Interview to Nakatsuji Family (7 visits)Mr. Masamichi Nakatsuji (M) - Husband Mrs. Kaoru Nakatsuji (K) - Wife Ms. Michiru Nakatsuji (MI) - Daughter How did you first hear about Tongsai Bay?K: We were planning to go to Phuket but it was in the rainy season. So we’ve changed to Koh Samui. We’ve found Tongsai Bay on the brochure. Since it does not have too many rooms but it has so many nature, also from the picture of terrace and room, we’ve picked Tongsai with our intuition.

What are your first / early memories of Tongsai?M: At our 1st visit, we arrived late in the evening. We’ve had Thai dishes as it is our favorite. Tom Yam Goong, Pad Thai, and Som Tam, etc. The staff taught me how to eat with some joke. This staff was Rossi (Auy) who is now working at the bar. It was very memorable first day. MI: When I was hopping in the flower bath, it started hearing the music from the beach, and I just started dancing naked in the bath! That was a moment I’ve finally released my feeling that I was holding.

How many times have you stayed here?K: It will be our 7th visit in this coming September 2017.

What is your favorite room(s) & why?M: I liked #122 in Beachfront Suite. Easy access to everywhere. K: Yes. We can overlook the beach & swimming pool, also the birds stopping by. Tongsai Grand Villa (#505) was nice too when I stayed with my daughter. There are many plumerias around the room and always provide good aroma.

Do you have a daily routine when here?M: Before the breakfast, we walk around the resort. I always take my camera in case we encounter with a Big monitor lizard. Also swimming in the pool. Sailing with the hobie cat (I’m good at it because I own the yacht in Japan). Getting massage by the beach rejuvenates me. K: Getting Hot stone at Prana Spa!MI: I always make sure I wear the name tag just like Tongsai staff. Every staff remember me and always treat me as a new staff.

What’s your favorite meal / drink / restaurant / theme night?M: Various kinds of Thai noodle at the breakfast. Senmi with Corriander, Senyai, Bamee Yok. Also Singha beer. K: Watermelon shake by the pool side, also it is off menu but Spicy Seafood Pasta. Mr. Tang, a restaurant staff, remembers my favorite dish and I always eat few times each stay. Also I like Thai Classical Night. I always enjoy theme night at the resort. MI: Fruits that Ms. Pu arrange for me at the breakfast. Big thank you to Pusan for always arranging a plate of mango & mangosteen!

Most enjoyable / memorable thing about Tongsai?M: I always love animal towels that prepared on the bed at the turndown time. When we returned to the room late afternoon, there were elephant, crab and these made me happy. One day, they showed me how to make a dog. K: Staff always say “Welcome back” and “See you next year” with heart & smile. Everything is memorable.
