As part of CN’s EcoConnexions program to foster sustain- able practices, the tree planting will involve customers and communities alike. CN has partnered with Tree Canada, a leading environmental stewardship organization specializing in rural and urban tree planting. In 2014, CN, with the help of the Delphi Group, surveyed key customers on their sustainability initiatives. They were asked questions about reporting their practices and achievements, reporting to the Carbon Disclosure Project, energy efficient policies and technologies and whether or not they shifted opera- tions to rail. Rail is the most sustainable method of moving cargo over land, emitting four times less greenhouse gases than trucking. We take pride in working with these customers who make green practices a priority:
