St. Odilia’s Vision, Mission, and Values

Our St. Odilia community “lives” by this vision, mission and values each and every day. All members of the Blessed

Trinity are included in our vision, mission, and values (God the Father = Vision, Jesus Christ the son = Mission, and the

Holy Spirit = Values).

Vision: The vision statement echoes a phrase often used by Pope Francis: “Indeed, let us joyfully live the Gospel by

knowing, loving, and serving God and one another!”

Mission: We are a Catholic community of faith that welcomes every person to grow in holiness and draw closer to Je-

sus Christ through….

Worship and Evangelization

Faith Formation and Education

Works of Charity and Justice

...every day and at every stage of life.

Values: Values are designed to serve as the anchors (foundation) for elements of the mission:

Faith and Prayer: We grow closer to God and each other through worship, sacraments, and spiritual growth.

These values are the primary anchors for the worship, faith formation, and education components of our mission.

Compassion and Community: As modeled by Jesus, we foster a culture of caring. These values are the primary

anchors for the evangelization and justice components of our mission.

Stewardship and Generosity: We commit to sharing our time, talent, and treasure to be Christ for one another.

These values are the primary anchors that enable us to fulfill our mission and realize our vision.

Joy and Gratitude: We welcome God’s loving gifts and challenges, joyfully giving thanks and praise. These values

support all elements of our mission statement.
