– Analyze data points previously submitted to the Central Site Pilot to identify utility and impact of trending practice & care events, and evaluating outcomes
– Establish standardized data and submission process
PIPS Core Measure Report Reference
• Group Leader: Kerry Larkin
• Goal:
– Compile, review, standardize and create a reference tool of currently used reports by POPIMS/Collector software users that meet required PIPS Core Measures
– Create gap analysis of content in current reports and data needed to satisfy Standard VI PIPS indicators requirement
Management Guideline Committee
• Group Leader: Terry Snavely
• Goals:
– Obtain, submit and post a minimum sampling of various ACS practice management guidelines
– Obtain and post variance indicators for each guideline to illustrate methods of variance trending and utilization to improve patient care outcomes
POPIMS Software Standardization
• Group Leader: Nathan McWilliams
• Goals:
– Review proposed POPIMS carve out from current V5 Collector
– Active involvement in the design process, beta testing and implementation
– Continue to analyze, design and refine POPIMS fields and data elements
State Risk PTOS Adjusted Mortality Report
• Second annual report will be sent out to every trauma center by Nov 18.
• Satisfies requirement that all centers have risk-stratified data
• Replaced with TQIP report going forward
• Compare report to last years report
