Round-trip Schedule: o February 15, 2016 (Monday) … departure from USA o February 28 2016(Sunday) … arrive Pittsburgh
Possible activities being planned: o Ugandan Gold Coffee farm in village of Wambabya A day in the life of a coffee farm worker Report on use of EZ-stoves (distributed in 2014) Sit-in on Bible Study with the farm workers
o Model food farm Soil analysis and fertilizer plan Soil preparation and planting Crop irrigation, fertilizer, and harvesting.
o Water wells Locating the areas that have a great need for clean water Setting up the drill rig and preparing the site Drilling the borehole, finding water, installing the casing,
etc. o Building construction at a Christian technical school /
orphanage (Kabwoya or Wambabya areas) Concrete footer and floor Brick and mortar construction (need masonry skills) Timber and corrugated steel roof Solar lighting for this school Perimeter security fence
o Worship service in local Anglican church o Medical team visit to help coffee farm and model food farm workers and their families
(medical skills needed) o Evening devotions
Estimated total cost … including airfare, hotels, surface travel, food, and activities … $3200
(Extra cost: US passport, health certificate, yellow-fever inoculation, malaria meds, emergency evacuation insurance, and attendance at training sessions are required.)
Optional add-on trip to Paraa Safari Lodge (northwestern Uganda) … $800 (Note: These estimates are subject to review and adjustment. We should have a solid number by

Who can join the Team? We reserve the right to limit the size and make-up of the team. Young people are
welcome (12-18) if accompanied by a parent. We have not set an upper age limit
but please bear in mind that Uganda is a third world country and living and traveling conditions can be arduous; we reserve the right to limit team membership on medical
grounds. . CEED is a Christian non-denominational
organization and we expect Team Members to be Christian believers able to share their
testimony if called upon to do so.
