There is a complete rangeof business, and computer courses.We have a specialized commercialand fine- arts program, including illustration, information design,drawing and painting, desktop publishing. Dramatic arts, dramatechnology, instrumental music and vocal music are alsoavailable. We have developed an Entertainment TechnologySpecial Program for students who are interested in careers intheatre and film working behind the scenes. Co-op education isavailable in almost every subject in the school.

We offer extensive English asa second language (ESL) and English literacy developmentprograms such as Language Enrichment Academic Program(LEAP). We begin assisting you when you apply to our school andwe continue to support you throughout you school career.

Student Life - Where You Belong

Cedarbrae offers a wide range of curricular and co-curricular

choices. We are partnered with Scarborough Hospital,

creating an unique opportunity to explore careers in health

care. You can also volunteer at the hospital to complete your

40 hours of community service.

Parent and Community Engagement

- School has links with the Cedarbrae Public Library, Cedarbrae Mall, Scarborough Hospital, Generaland Grace locations. - The school also works with Toronto Volunteer Association-Scarborough Branch. Affiliation with 43 Division of Metro Police through the School Action Team (SAT) - - - - - - - - SchoolCouncil meets monthly six to eight times a year to advise administration on matters relating to policy anstudents. A full slate of council executive is in place. - School Council has undertaken a series of guestspeakers for a number of areas to help inform parents of the challenges faced at home and school. - - - - - - -
