With a very dynamic environment characterised by uncertainty and volatility, traditional educational systems and learning approaches are found to be inadequate and most graduates being ‘not ready for jobs/ employment.’ With the adoption and introduction of experiential pedagogies such as project based learning, ENABLE and interdisciplinarity in its programmes, Ahmedabad University is committed to providing education that prepares students to think deeply and creatively across disciplines and are equipped to handle the complex challenges of our societies. We encourage discovery of new ideas and are of the belief that good theory results in good practice. The Amrut Mody School of Management offers management programmes for undergraduate, graduate, doctoral and working professionals. The academic environment at the school offers students, researchers and faculty, the opportunity to participate in a unique learning process, mediated by fieldwork and projects that enable deep creative insight, rigorous analytical experimentation and fulfilling careers. We believe that rigour and vigour in academic life needs an active engagement with the industry within and outside the classroom. In this endeavor, we collaborate with industry stakeholders to create opportunities for internships and final placements for our students. I look forward to your participation in the placement process.
