About Christopher Drummond

Christopher began his career in the fashion and beauty industry as a model at the age of twenty-one. His works in front of the camera lead to an interest in the ‘behind the scene’ world of make-up artistry. Others became aware of his aptitude for the color palette while working on photo shoots and modeling. His natural skill as a make-up artist soon lead to a position as head make-up artist of Sephora, assisting beauty icons, such as Bobbi Brown, and working with clients of exclusive spas.

With a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan, along with an esthetician’s license, extensive training with dermatologists, and additional coursework in chemistry, skin pathology and nutrition, Christopher has a comprehensive understanding of skincare and the effects the environment has on the skin.

Throughout his career, Christopher realized that there was a market for a premium line of natural, organic-based, vegan cosmetics that would LUOHUJL�H�̂ VTHU»Z�JVTWSL_PVU�HUK�WYV]L�ILULÄJPHS�MVY�[OL�LU]PYVUTLU[��He believed that a woman’s make-up and skincare regimen could be ZPTWSPÄLK�^OPJO�SLHK�OPT�[V�KL]LSVW�H�IHZPJ�WOPSVZVWO`�[V�OLSW�LTWV^LY�women through cosmetics. He focused on creating a company that would both develop products that were revolutionary in texture, ingredients and application and support his line of cosmetics with practical advice and instruction.

With over 15 years of experience in the cosmetic industry,- both in front of and behind the camera.- Christopher has worked with cosmetic companies specializing in natural and botanical ingredients. This vast experience was in intrinsic part of Christopher’s decision to formulating his own line of cosmetics in 2007.

About Christopher Drummond Beauty

While working as a national make-up artist for a more traditional ‘mineral’ make-up line, Christopher noticed the large array of women who had uncomfortable skin reactions to the product after continued use. Their complaints regarding irritation and drying, as well as the lack of the perfect color match, prompted Christopher to take note of the ingredients commonly used in various popular ‘mineral’ make-up brands.

After additional research and education, Christopher found that most make-up. – even those self-proclaimed ‘good for you’ brands, – contained potentially irritating ingredients. He sought to remove these irritants by replacing them with more gentle, natural ingredients that were more costly but less prone to causing allergic reactions. Christopher also strived to improve texture and expand the color palette to suit every woman.
