    Coaxial Protection

    Clearline Platform Concepth

The key to Clearlines success is the equi-potential platform.

During a transient event the voltage potentials between power, data, and video lines can rise to several thousands of

volts causing extensive damage and costly down time to surveillance systems.

Simply protecting the power, data, or video line individually, provides little or no protection against this type of transient.

In order to prevent damage, a common, low impedance path around the sensitive components needs to be provided.

Clearlines unique protection platform not only provides protection for each of the connected lines but also a low

impedance path between protection devices ensuring safe diversion of transient current even when there is a poor

    earth available.

he 12-00321 is a 483mm (19 inch) 1 U rack mountable patch panel that allows up to 16 coaxial

rotectors to be fitted. This unit offers cable management and comes with mounting hardware.

his unit is ideal for protecting video inputs to DVRs.

    Note:

is crucial to ensure that the power andvideo inputs are protected and that the two protection devices are bonded

    ogether to the electrical earth.

    Fibre Optic Kit - 1 x 12-00135, 1 x 12-00794, 2 x PSU

his fibre optic kit consists of a receiver and transmitter unit with power supplies.

oth units and fibre cables are immune to EMI/RFI, eliminating any need for

oncern in noisy environments. These devices are easy to install and will isolate

our CCTV systems from lightning damage.

6 Channel Fibre Patch Panel with Integrated Power Supply

2-U universal panel that will accept a total of 16 coaxial protectors or fibre receivers or a combination of both for the

rotection of CCTV camera systems. The power supply unit houses up to four, 4 channel power supply boards, each

oard supplying 4 fibre optic receivers. (see 12-00135). Suitable for mounting in modem racks and the unit can be
