The switch port is configured for autoduplex and the PC is configured for full duplex. What will commonly cause thisproblem?

The PC is set to full duplex. The switch port fails to autonegotiate the duplexsetting and defaults to half duplex, which causes a duplex mismatch.

The switch traffic is exceeding available frame buffers. The result is that framesare being dropped.

For question 25, you have to select TWO options, but only one is highlighted inred. The answer should be:

“Incoming traffic that has a VLAN ID of 2 is processed by subinterface fa0/0.2.”

AND

“Traffic inbound on this router is processed by different subinterfaces, depending on the VLAN from which the traffic originated.

For question 35, the third option is WRONG. It should be:

“The configuration is appropriate for a router-on-a-stick network design.”

NOT:

“A shutdown command has been applied to interface FastEthernet3/0/0.”

the red answer is the correct answer; “Frames belonging tothe native VLAN do NOT carry VLAN tags when sent over thetrunk. Conversely, if an untagged frame is received on a trunkport, the frame is associated with the Native VLAN for thisport.” (wikipedia)

Q 25 Refer to the exhibit. Which two statements are true about the operationof the interfaces? (Choose two.)

Incoming traffic with VLAN ID 0 is processed by interface fa0/0.

+Incoming traffic that has a VLAN ID of 2 is processed by subinterfacefa0/0.2.

Both subinterfaces remain up with line protocol up, even if fa0/0 line protocolis down.

Subinterfaces use unique MAC addresses by adding the 802.1Q VLAN ID to thehardware address.

+Traffic inbound on this router is processed by different subinterfaces, depending on the VLAN from which the traffic originated.

(The last statement is true but wasn’t colored red)
