Maitha was an absolute pleasure to have as an intern – she was cordial and professional with all the visitors and had the bestdisposition to be around during the course of her internship. She really contributed to the group mentality and proved her ability toundertake responsibilities when the supervisor was not present in the pavilion.

    n/a

Observant, a bit shy but interacts when needed. Follows through with talks given and you can trust her with work.

Fayezah is a very motivated and hard working intern

  • What did the student do well?

    Comments

Aisha is great at coming up with creative ideas within a short period of time and then turning approved ideas into visuals whetherstatics, Gifs, or animations. Her work has even been used on our clients' social media accounts.

    In doing the design concepts.

Maitha is an excellent team worker and she is always eager to contribute and help whenever she can. She is also very respectful ofthe local culture and rules.

Mariam integrated with the team from day 1 and was eager to perform a variety of tasks to get the most out of her internship. Shewas keen to attend client meetings and was quick to observe body language, and the next steps needed to fulfill the project.

Understanding the culture of the organization and working with cross–functional departments

She was good at meeting deadlines, learning new systems, and communication. She was also very good at responding tofeedback.

Seeing things through and keeping a professional attitude

Rawda is a fast learner and showed commitment to add valuable input to the team.

She has been very proactive and eager to learn from different tasks assigned to her. We are happy to see that she has developedprofessionally from her first joining date.

Checking Arabic translation and welcoming visitors in our events and engaging with them

  • What advice would you give the student to improve?

    Comments

Do your best to push yourself to complete tasks in shorter periods of time while still maintaining high quality of work.

To keep doing what she is passionate about.

I would tell Maitha to keep listening to what others have to say and learn from those that do things different to her. She wasextremely receptive of that during her stay in Venice and I would advise her to continue with that mentality upon returning to the UAE.

To succeed as a comms professional, Mariam should work on strengthening her content development skills, and her verbaldelivery when undertaking media relations over the phone.

Be more proactive and extrovert and participate actively in group discussions

She didn't do a proper handover when she left.

I would advice Rawda to practice working on her Arabic writing skills as she has great capabilities.
