NARRATOR: Christmas It truly IS the mostwonderful time of the year. Every year atthis time, people find reasons to go out oftheir way for each other. Our steps are alittle lighter. Our smiles come a littlequicker. or most of us, our patience lastslonger even as our days seem to grow shorter.

)ut amid all the noise and #ustle and fren*yof Christmas, it&s easy to miss the miracle.If we aren&t paying attention, we can turnaround on $ecem#er !+ th and reali*e that eventhough the tree was decorated on time, andthe house looked perfect, all the presentsgot wrapped and the cookies got #aked, thatsomehow, in the middle of the festivities andpreparations and anticipations, the ChristChild came and we missed the quiet moment ofis #irth in the manger.

'ost of the world missed the first Christmas,

too. hile the /oman Empire marched aheadwith its census, an unremarka#le young couplemade a difficult trip to )ethlehem. $eep inthe night, while the town slept, shepherds ona hillside heard angels. 0nd in a night skyfilled with countless ordinary stars, a groupof wisemen followed the path of one whichseemed e1traordinary.
