A Special meeting of the Board of Bottineau County Commissioners was held in the Commissioner Room at the Courthouse with the follow- ing members present: Chairman, Charlie Adams, Vice Chairman, LeRoy Rude, Commissioners,Lance Kjelshus, Jeff Beyer, Dan Marquardt,County Auditor, Emily Deschamp, also present via phone was Human Resource Coordinator Tanya Weiler. Agenda -A motion was made to approve the amended agenda with additions of a special event permit for KC’s Dockside Bar and Grill by Kjelshus,second by Marquardt. Motion carried. Emily presented the board a print out of the sign that will be dis- played at the Pickle Ball bathroom as part of the Garrison Diversion grant process. A motion was made to approve the signage by Kjelshus, second by Marquardt. Roll call vote unanimous. Motion carried. He also discussed with the board that he would like to donate some of the contents of his office to the county. Commissioner Rude gave an update on the hiring of a new Community Service Program Coordinator, also the request was discussed for the $10,000 com- mitment. A motion was made to table payment of $10,000 to the Community Service Program until the September 7, 2021 meeting by Kjelshus, second by Marquardt. Motion carried.
