CBSE National SAHODAYA CONFERENCE AT MADURAI

I attended the National Conference of

CBSE principals on 2nd and 3rd of November

at Madurai. Eminent speakers from the field

of Education, Politics, Art, Music, Yoga,

Scientific Research and speakers from

IIT,IIM & CBSE Delhi spoke on the

occasion on Quality Education .It was a

wonderful experience with 600 principals

from across the country present in the

conclave.

SAHODAYA INTER -SCHOOL SONG COMPETITION

In Rural Game Odisha State Championship 2017 held at Bargarh, Our 34 students were participated and won 27 Gold and 16 silvers medals.

Aastha Mohapatra of Class X stood 1st position in Sahodaya Inter-School solo song competition at CNEMS,Bargarh .

Prachi Prekshya Raulo stood 1st in debate competition on the occasion of VIGILANCE AWARENESS WEEK.

CBSE NATIONAL KABADDI CHAMPIONSHIP

130 students (f Class X) the school

appeared the NTSE examination at Govt.Girls’ High School ,Bargarh .

Safety awareness programme

On 10th November a “Safety Awareness Programme” was

conducted for the students of class IV by “Chanchala” a voluntary

organisation ,Bargarh working for various social causes in odisha ,where the students were given safety tips on

how to keep themselves safe.

Our CBSE Cluster-II Kabaddi U-17 Champion Team participated in the CBSE National Kabaddi Championship held at Panipat, Haryana from 8th to 12th Nov. 2017.

National education day & cleanliness drive

School observed “National Education Day” on the birth

Anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, the first Education Minister of

independent India on 11th November 2017.

On this occasion one cleanliness drive was

initiated to clean the School campus by the faculty

members as well as students.

Sahodaya principals’ meet

We at our school organized a

Conference of the principals of

Sahodaya School Complex Western

Odisha on 12th November where

principals of Western Odisha CBSE

Schools attended the meeting to

discuss and share the experience of

national Conference at Madurai.

And also it was discussed regarding

the best practice of the Schools and

strategies for Quality Education with

Co-curricular activities to be

conducted for the 28 member School

of the conference.

NCSC team selected for national level

The NCSC Team of the School lead by Tushar Sahu,

Archita Mishra ,Divesh Kumar Nayak, Aakancha Gupta

and Pujalin naik of class IX selected to National level

for the Project- ‘Reclaimed water uses to meet non

potable water demands –a sustainable approach’, to be

held at Ahemdabad, Gujarat.

CHILDRENS’ DAY CELEBRATION

As a tribute to the first

Prime Minister of India Shri Jawaharlal Nehru ,

School observed Children’s Day on 14th November in the august

presence of Hon’ble Chairman ,Vikash

Group Sri. D. Murali Krishna. He urged the students to participate in all activities desired

for the children and remain a child to enjoy

childhood.

A Session on Career Counseling was organized for the students of Cl-XI & XII Commerce on 28th November in the presence of Dr. S.N Panda, Director Vikash. The Resource Person for the occasion was CA Shri Suvendu Tripathy. Besides CA Shri Sandeep Shah & CA Shri Ashok Agrawal were also invited to the occasion. CA Shri Suvendu Tripathy motivated students and counseled the students to choose their careers carefully.
