Dear Parents,
Warm greetings & welcome extended to another successful year ahead!!!!
The development of Shiv Ashish over the past few years has been significant. Let me foremost thank one & all- the supportive management, dedicated
teachers, caring and co-operative parents who blend harmoniously in creating SHIV ASHISH, a child- centric school. Through collaborative efforts
we shall continue to work more, to the benefit of our students.
Our children represent our hopes and dreams. As a parent, you want the best for your child and we are proud to be working with you to ensure that
they are given the right knowledge to face future challenges.
Shiv Ashish – CBSE, is a full- fledged higher secondary school offering both science & commerce stream. It feels great to see our students excelling
in academics, sports and other programmes at the state level. We at S A S strive to make the pursuit of excellence a way of life; a habit. We provide a
balanced environment that promotes order, independence, a love for learning, a connection to the world and a sense of social responsibility.
The popularity of the school is not accidental; careful planning and programming, the selection of excellent staff and a willingness to innovate in
educational provision have all contributed to the high level of academic success achieved by students at the school.
With vibrant programmes to offer – we look forward for another productive year ahead for our dear students. Let’s remember we – the school members,
parents & students are a team, we complement each other and dream to give the best to our students who are the future hope of our nation.
Our school website is a window to our vibrant life. May I request parents to regularly explore our website www.shivashish.com& school facebook
page too to keep abreast the happenings.
Looking forward for another exciting & excellent year for our dear students

C C A ACTIVITIES & INTER HOUSE COMPETITIONS : 2016-17
Importance and Benefits of Co-curricular Activities
A co-curricular activity essentially takes place outside a typical pen and pencil classroom experience. It
gives the students an opportunity to develop particular skills and exhibit their non-academic abilities.
. Co-curricular activities are the true and practical experiences received by students.
Intellectual aspects of personality are solely accomplished by Classroom, while aesthetic development,
character building, spiritual growth, physical growth, moral values, creativity, etc. are supported by co-
curricular activities.
Frankness and clarity in language and personality is supported by these activities. It helps to develop co-
ordination, adjustment, speech fluency, extempore expressions, etc. among student at the school level.
It provides the avenues of socialization, self-identification and self-assessment when the child come in
contact with organizers, fellow participants and teachers.
CCA develop the values like physical, psychological, Ethical, academic, civic, social, aesthetic, cultural
recreational and disciplinary values.
