What helped in the implementation of activities? The Programme continued to utilize the skills gain from the Policy and Advocacy training facilitated by Tsopano training centre imparted skills in NGOCC Secretariat to analyze policies and the coming on board of Canada Fund for Local Initiatives project provided resources to conduct the Gender Responsive Budgeting Training. What challenges or factors have affected performance? Insufficient funds to implement the planned activities as well as lack of meetings scheduled by the Ministry of Finance to enable NGOCC to facilitate the monitoring of the implementation of the SNDP through SAG meetings. What lessons and other developments have resulted from the activities? There is a need for scaling up fund raising activities to coordinate a training workshop for the Gender Budgeting Team Members from MOs in order to sharpen their skills in Policy Analysis especially National Budget Analysis.

2. What worked well? Cooperation from other programmes Availability of MOs Interest of Donors in NGOCC programmes (Plan International and Canadian Fund for
Local initiatives and Finish Fund.)
3. What did not work well? Low attendance of meetings due to members fully accepting the sustainably plan of
contributing transport refund to attends NGOCC/programme units. Failure by the ministry of finance to call for SAG meetings. Delay in finalizing the R-SNDP Change of the roadmap by the government. Time constrain leading to deferring some activities to the fourth quarter. 8 visitations done instead of 5. High staff turnover and members leaving.
4. Lesson Learnt Too many necessary adhoc activities distract smooth implementation of planned
activities Need for continued advocacy on National policies and programme from informed
perspective e.g NGO Act and constitution Need to prioritize the mentorship/coach of MOs to reduce challenges being faced by
MOs Ned for improved synergies in between programmes.
5. What needs to be carried forward? Analysis of the second draft of the National Constitution Mentorship/coaching Procurement of laptop
6. Comment on M&E status activities Harmonizing statistic data from programmes Continuously updating the results table Come up with a way of capacity activities implemented but were left out in M&E result
