    The Nationwide Health Information Network (NHIN) is being developed toprovide a secure, nationwide, interoperable health information infrastructurethat will connect providers, consumers, and others involved in supportinghealth and healthcare

    A set of harmonized standards-based specifications for communicatingbetween National Health Information Exchanges (NHIEs)

    A trust fabric that allows for private and secure exchange of HealthInformation. This includes:
