OPERATION CHIRSTMAS CHILD “SHOE BOX” TIME!

Pack boxes for boys and girls, ages 2-4, 5-9, 10-14 this month.
TOYS, ART/SCHOOL SUPPLIES, WASHCLOTHS, BAR SOAP, & TOOTHBRUSHES.
This year, leave off war items, toothpastes, candy & breakables.
Empty shoe boxes and items may be placed on Seekers counter. Expenses to pro-
cess shoe boxes are $9 this year. This covers the cost all the way into the children’s
hands. Literature with Bible stories for each child to keep is $6 making a total of $15
each box. Please give as the Lord leads you. Please contribute Shoe Box items Oc-
tober 15 or before. Completed Shoe Boxes due by November 12. Any questions

Mt. Hebron UMW are selling new crop pecans again this year thru No-
vember 5th. They will be delivered the week before Thanksgiving.
They are taking orders for 1-lb bags or large pecan halves or pecan
pieces for $11.00 per bag; and, boxes of double-dipped chocolate pe-
cans, or roasted and salted pecans, or honey crisp pecans for $13.50 per
box. Please contact Bonnie Cherry for your Holiday baking or gift-

Join us on Sunday, October 29th from 5-7pm for the Great Pumpkin Hunt. Come
out and decorate a pumpkin, enjoy games, a bounce house, face painting, popcorn,
cotton candy and a movie “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown”. Be sure to stick
around for the Great Pumpkin Hunt where we will hide 100 pumpkins around the
church to find. Who will find the “Great Pumpkin”? This is a family event and eve-
ryone is invited to attend.
Help needed for the Great Pumpkin Hunt
We need volunteers to assist in our The Great Pumpkin Hunt. If you would like to
help us the night of the event or to prep for the event, please email ([email protected])
or call (803-351-3392) Lisa Fisher. We also need pumpkin donations. The pump-
kins can be plastic, foam or real pumpkins. Any size will do! Thanks as always for
your support of the Children’s Ministry program at Cayce UMC.
DINNER & A CORN MAZE
The Youth (MYF) will go eat dinner at Zesto’s and then to the Corn
Maze on Saturday, May 14th. We will meet at the church at 6:00 pm
and return at 9:00 pm. The cost is $12 for the Corn Maze plus for
your meal at Zesto’s. Bring a friend and come join the fun!
