TASK: •In your jotter make a list of people you consider to be good role models and people you consider to be bad role models.

•Pick one of your good role models – give a reason why you have chosen them.

•Pick one of your bad role models – give a reason why you have chosen them.

• In areas of high unemployment and poverty many young people belong to gangs.

• These are often inner city areas of major cities with a high ethnic minority population e.g. Blacks.

• However young people join gangs for a variety of reasons.
