1. The University reserves the right to fill up or not to fill up any or all the posts and also to increase ordecrease the number of posts without assigning reasons. Canvassing in any form will disqualify thecandidate.

2. Only the short listed candidates will be called for interview. The University shall reimburse secondsleeper class rail fare by the shortest route or actual bus fare on production of tickets.

3. 3% of the posts are reserved for persons with disability (PWD) candidates as per rules.

4. Persons who are retiring shortly or just retired may also be considered for re-employment on standardterms or on contract basis, if necessary.

5. For the post of Assistant Professor/Sports officer/ Medical Officer the maximum age limit at entry is 35years and for Associate professor or equivalent is 47 years as on the last date of submission ofapplication form. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBCIPWD etc. will be as per Govt. of India norms.

6. The age of superannuation for teachers in Central Agricultural University is 65 years and 62 years forComptroller and for all other posts it is 60 years.

7. Candidates applying for posts under SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories should provide validcertificate from the competent authority. Those under OBC should produce a certificate to theeffect that they belong to non-creamy layer as per Govt. of India norms.
