~ELEBRATE THE SACRAMENT OF RECONCI LIATIO~
billericacatholic.org
My Friends, I pray that you will have a re-
warding Lenten Season. At this
time when we sacrifice and focus
our attention on helping others
and deepening our prayer life,
the Lord can have a profound
effect in our lives.
We have many activities to assist you in your Lenten
journey. Among them are additional weekday Mass-
es, Adoration, Confession and Stations of the Cross.
I am grateful that you chose to worship with us to-
day and pray that as we journey through this Lent
together we will be better prepared to give praise to
our Risen Lord this Easter. —Father Shawn

the Sacrament of Confession and makes it as easy
as possible for every Catholic to come or to return
to this great source of God’s mercy and healing love during this Lenten Season.
Bible Study A Prayer of the Heart
Led by Father Hal
Mondays during Lent
7:00pm in St. Andrew’s Hall All are invited to join Father Hal in taking a look at
the place of “the heart” in the Sacred Scriptures.
Stations of the Cross
Led by Deacon Marcos Enrique
Fridays during Lent
6:30pm at St. Mary
This Lent, all are invited to accompany our Lord in his Passion by praying through the Stations of the Cross.
As a form of meditation, this Lent we will accompany Jesus by reciting verses from the psalms which Jesus
himself would have prayed during his life, and which could very well have been in his heart and on his lips
during his Passion. In addition, each week Deacon Marcos will be preaching a brief reflection on the differ-
ent characters that appear during the Stations such as Mary, Pontius Pilate, Veronica, etc. Join us on this
weekly Friday devotion through April 12 at 6:30pm in St. Mary Church. Make this a special Lent
as we prepare to receive the Resurrection of the Lord at Easter.
Easter Flowers We are accepting donations for
the flowers that adorn our 3
Churches on Easter. Envelopes
can be found in your monthly en-
velopes or you may use a regular
envelope with your loved one’s name on it. Simply place the en-
velope in the collection basket or
bring it by your parish office.
Novena in Honor of the
Sacred Heart ~CANCELED
The Novena in Honor of the Sacred
Heart is canceled for April 5. It will resume on Friday, May 3 at 7:00pm at
St. Andrew. For questions, contact
Kathy at 978-663-2533.

“A man had two sons…” – so begins today’s Gospel parable. Take some time this week to consider where are you in the story. Are you the younger son or daughter,
who just wants to get away from home, but soon realizes that home is where you
are loved unconditionally? Are you the disgruntled older sibling – faithful, but bitter?
Are you the parent, who looked out every day, hoping for the return of your be-
loved child? This parable reminds us of the importance of forgiveness of self and of
others, and more importantly to be open to God’s mercy and forgiveness.
Congratulations and God’s many blessings to the families of Bennett Donald
Glynn, Natalie Bobbi Meuse, Noah Allen Garofano, Jackson William Hil-
lis, Emmett Cole Riley, Declan William Harkins, and Ian McIntire Hamel
who were initiated into God’s family this past month at St. Theresa. We wish for them a lifetime of learning about God’s great and merciful love.
Family Mass What a wonderful Family
Liturgy we celebrated at
St. Mary! And, the Parish Hall was overflowing with
families and youth after
the Mass. If you haven’t had the opportunity to
attend one of our Family
Liturgies we hope you will
be able to join us for our
NEXT one on Sunday,
April 7 @ 10:00am at
Saint Andrew Church. Hospitality will follow in
Father Wilson Hall after the Mass. Please go to
www.billericacatholic.org/family-mass to take
a peek at the many wonderful photos taken at last
month’s Mass.
The Weeping Tree A Lenten Service For Holy Week
Monday,April 15 @ 7:00pm
St.Andrew Church
For the past several years, on
the Monday of Holy Week, we
have offered a beautiful prayer
experience. The Weeping Tree
was written by Joseph M. Martin
and uses “beloved hymns, newly
composed music, thoughtful nar-
ration, and simple sacred sym-
bols to create a touching por-
trait of the cross.” It is a truly powerful way to enrich your Lenten experience.
This unique prayer service is approximately 45
minutes and features a “weeping tree” cross that
was hand-carved by one of our own parishioners.
Come, and see the Weeping Tree.
