Throughout 2013, our students and their incredible artwork and performances will be popping up in corporate and civic lobbies around the First Coast. Come catch our students doing what they do best—creating art that captivates, inspires and uplifts.

Help us Lobby for the Arts by attending one of our many lobby events. Our shows are as varied as our instruction. We’ll be featuring a juried art exhibition, as well as electrifying performances by gifted dancers, singers and musicians.

Celebrating 20 Years of transforMatiVe results.Since 1993, our vision has been for every child to have equal access to a well-rounded, arts-rich education. We have seen firsthand how this instruction can nourish a child’s spirit, imagination, self-confidence and strength of character. CAP kids get better grades, have better attendance, outperform their peers on standardized tests, and are nearly always promoted to the next grade. Our programs help young people succeed at school and in all areas of their lives.

We need You in the spotlight.Although we currently offer 58 free arts programs in 28 high-need neighborhoods throughout Jacksonville, we have 16 more schools on the waiting list. We fervently need advocates and activists to get involved.

Become An Advocate.• Attend the shows and cheer on the kids.• Help us spread the word about Cathedral Arts with your

friends, neighbors and colleagues.• Contact your elected officials to voice your support for

arts education. • Join the CAPtivators, our young professionals club.

Become An Activist.• Volunteer your time, material or service.• Assist a class or become a guest artist.• Invest in our community by making a tax-deductible

donation to Cathedral Arts.

$500 Underwrites one student’s participation in the program for one half year.
