TRADITION, QUALITY AND CAREH Fereday & Sons was established in 1862 and is still today owned by the family.Chairman David Fereday is the great grandson of the founder and continues thecaring tradition of a family company manufacturing quality products in the UK.
Our production conforms to the necessary European Directives LVD2006/95/EC,EMC2004/108/EC, the important Gas Directive 2009/142/EC and is controlled to thequality standard ISO9001.
CATERLUX HOTCUPBOARDS AND BAINS MARIECATERLUX cupboards provide a multi-various choice from small plate warmers to2300mm long units. There are two distinct ranges - the heavy duty ATLAS and themedium duty GALAXY range hotcupboards - see separate brochure.
ATLAS heavy duty cupboards have a complete variety of modules and optionswhich can be 'mixed and matched' to meet the exact requirements of the chef.
They are available in any length between 760mm and 2300mm with a variety ofplain and bain marie tops. There is the option of electric, natural or LP gas heating.
The diverse choice of extra fittings includes doors both sides, tray rails, castors anda comprehensive range of heated gantries and over shelves.
An innovation is the unique three sliding door system which facilitates access to thecentre of the cupboard and the loading of wide baking dishes.

bespoke lengthsWhilst there are 4 standard lengths 760mm, 1090mm, 1420mm and 1750mm ATLAS hotcupboards/bains marie can bemanufactured at extra cost to any length from 760mm to 2300mm. This will enable ATLAS to be speci�ed where thelayout of a kitchen demands a speci�c length.
counter runsThe �exibility gained from bespoke lengths enables the ATLAS range to be speci�ed for a run of cupboards to optimiseuse of kitchen space. Any combination of ATLAS cupboards and optional �ttings can be butted together.

more technical information on the ATLAS rangeEFFICIENT CONTROL :Caterlux heating systems are energy e�cent. Internal de�ectors keep the heat within the cupboard. Thermostatic controlenables the chef to maintain the temperature of food well above the level of safe holding of hot food.ELECTRIC CONNECTIONS :2m of cable is supplied which exits as standard top right adjacent to the controls. At extra cost the cable can exit on the lef tand separate 13amp supplies can be provided for the cupboard and bain marie. Heating gantries come with 3m cable exiting under the �ange of the top. At extra cost the gantry and the cupboard supplies can be combined subject to loading.GAS CONNECTIONS : Connection to the supply is by a 3/8” BSP thread located at the base of the cupboard adjacent to the controls front rightdoors side.NATURAL /LP GAS HEATING : The ECONOGAS system incorporates �ame failure, thermostat and piezo ignition. It is approved to Gas Directive 2009/142/EC.ELECTRIC HEATING : The long ‘lo-glo’ elements give uniform heat distrbution to ensure an even temperature throughout the cupboard.
