CATERING GUIDELINES
The Green Street Caf is the Colleges food service division and home of Green Street Catering. We are operated by Mount Wachusett Community College. Our mission is to provide you with the very best in food service, food quality, and flavor. Your support is important to our success. We appreciate your business. It is the policy of Mount Wachusett Community College that the Green Street Caf is the exclusive provider of food/catering services on the Gardner campus. When planning your event, please keep in mind that large-scaled events require more planning and coordination. Please notify us as soon as possible about special dinners or other scheduled events to allow our trained professionals the time needed to do the best possible job for you. In the event of a last minute order, menu items and service needs may be limited or subject to additional charges. When planning your event, please obtain approval from the Green Street Caf before purchasing your food or beverage needs elsewhere.

BOOKING
ON CAMPUS:
MWCC students, staff and faculty can access the menu, catering guide, and food order form by going to iConnect and clicking on the Green Street Caf link or by emailing [email protected].
To save time, please email your completed food order form, to [email protected], to ensure that we have booked your event date and time. You will receive email confirmation within 24 hours of your submission. Please call ext. 542 if you do not receive confirmation of your email.
The IPR (Internal Purchase Requisition) form is conveniently located at the bottom of the Food Order Form. All Food Orders require the signature of the cost center head or grant director in addition to the signature of the VP of Finance & Administration. Please forward all signed copies of Food orders to Leah Kymalainen via interoffice or email.

To place an order for food, call the Green Street Caf at 978-630-9542 or email [email protected]. A menu and Food Request Order form will be emailed to you.
Please complete and return the food order at your earliest convenience to ensure that the Green Street Caf staff will have ample time to order provisions and additional staffing as is necessary. You will receive confirmation of your food order within 24 hours of receipt.
Food orders, placed by outside entities, should be made advance. We accept checks made out to MWCC or credit card payments.
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU INFORM US ABOUT ANY FOOD ALLERGIES IN YOUR PARTY!

COST
Pricing is per person. Some menu items may require a minimum number of guests. Large events, as determined by Green Street Caf staff, will be assessed an additional service charge for short notices: 3-day notice - $ 10 2-day notice - $ 15 1-day notice - $ 20
CUSTOM MENUS
We are happy to customize and price your menu ideas and party details. Give us a call. Additional costs may apply. Please notify the catering staff of any food allergies.
UPDATES AND CHANGES
We are here to assist you with any and all of your catering needs. We ask that you make updates and/or changes at least four (4) business days prior to your event. Changes made, with a shorter notice, may incur additional costs. You should confirm your final event count (increase or decrease) at least four (4) business days prior to your event. A change in guest count with a:
(three) 3 business day notice, will be assessed a 5% service charge
(two) 2 business day notice, will be assessed a 10% service charge
LINEN
One buffet table linen and buffet table skirting are complimentary. Additional linens require a minimum of a ten (10) business day notice. Table linens are white and the color of napkins is Green Street Cafs choice unless otherwise ordered. Table Linens: $ 3/each Linen Napkins: $ 1/each
CHINA AND PAPER SUPPLIES
Paper supplies are complimentary
China: $1/per person per course - Note: Linen napkins are recommended with china service
LABOR COSTS
Labor costs are billed for any catered event of 30 guests or more. Hiring additional staff is required for larger parties. See below for additional labor costs for buffets, boxed meals, or plated meals: 30 50 guests $40 51 70 guests $70 71 100 guests $100 101 - 200 guests $120 For all plated meals, add an additional $3 per person.
