The SURMAC anti-vibration feet are structured so as to support heavy axial loads (between 350 and over 6000 kg) as well as longitudinal loads effectively. The SURMAC anti-vibration feet have a cylindrical shape with no metal parts visible, these being completely coated with rubber. As a consequence they can be used to substitute stainless steel supports that serve similar functions (and are usually more expensive) in several industrial sectors. Among others, sectors include:

DAB’s anti-vibration metal bars have been developed and built to withstand high workloads and are used when cylindrical anti-vibration products cannot be employed. They are composed of two flats and inner natural rubber, 55 Shore A hardness, ideal for any requirement.

They are particularly suitable for every type of electrical generator, power hammers, riveting machines and machine tools with high work frequencies.

The metal plates are composed of one flat and a natural rubber base, 55 Shore A hardness, ideal for any requirement. To be cut to measure, drilling and threading according to customer’s specification, as for the metal bars.

DAB’s anti slip rubber plates are user-friendly and ideal for the active or passive isolation of machines, for the shock damping and the noise absorption. They are easy to use as they can be cut at the desired size and shape just using workshop tools. Generally, to obtain a good result it is sufficient to adapt the cutting of the plate to the shape and size of the machine support or the device to isolate. DAB’S anti slip plates are produced in one single format and are in natural rubber with a hardness of 45-55 Shore.

ANTI-VIBRATION RUBBER COLLARS

DAB’s anti-vibration collars are structured to be particularly suitable to isolate bolts or other through connectors from active and passive vibrations.

The rubber part is vulcanised between a flat disk and a collar disk, both made of steel.

One of the tasks of these two metal parts is to secure the bolt centering and to avoid any contact between the bolt and the part to isolate, (machine feet for example).

The space between the bolt and the parts to isolate secure the cut from vibrations, shocks and noises.



The anti-vibration collars generally complete an isolation system put into place with anti-vibration appropriated to the application: their function is to isolate bolts or other connectors that could improperly act like a “bridge” for the vibration waves.

Collars can be used singly or in pairs (counterposed or prestressed) for strains, even composite.

ELASTIC JOINTS

- they are noiseless; - they do not require lubrication.


With high deformability and excellent damping, they absorb TORSIONAL vibrations, which are the main cause of breakage of the mechanical devices and reduce the irregularities of motion.

They allow an almost perfect homokinetic transmission even between two trees misaligned (universal angle 4° - 6°): superior angles may be used for the assembly of two joints in series.

The assembly is carried through two metal flanges mounted at the ends of the above-mentioned trees. Widely tested and reliable, the joints are very useful and cutting edge products. Fields of application: automotive, railway, electrical generators, motorcycles and electric compressors, agricultural machinery, and in any circumstance in which it is necessary to transmit rotary motion from a motor to other organs conducted (or dragged), especially when the motion is irregular, in the presence of critical speeds or torque peaks due to opposing rotating masses.

Compared to the classical universal joints, DAB’s elastic joints have the following advantages:

By virtue of the excellent elastic properties, DAB’s elastic joints are optimally applied between the motor shaft and the driven shaft in the transmission.

They allow AXIAL and RADIAL movements, absorbing any minor defects of assembly.Obtained from natural selected compound, the anti-vibration joints consist of rubber blocks arranged in a polygonal way, in which are embedded metal inserts with hole for the fixing on the trees.

FLANGED ANTI-VIBRATION MOUNTS FOR HEAVY LOADS

Thanks to their shape, they are very easy to assemble and to replace in case of need.

The aim of these mounts gives them the following main properties:- limited thickness- large supporting surface- possibility of superimposing several supports- movements in all directions of the whole suspended equipment- high ratio between axial and radial stiffness- heavy axial load

Applications:- road rollers- vibrating compactors- heavy machinery- moulding presses- containers- deepwater drilling platforms (off-shore drilling)


They are designed to support heavy loads under compression.Their mechanical properties may vary and they are mainly determined by the elastomer hardness and by the number of metal plates inserted.

The rates of stress under compression vary from 20 to 100 bars.

DAB’s flanged anti-vibration mounts are composed of one or more elastomer layers put between flat and parallel metal structures.

O-Rings are torus-shaped rings made of elastomeric material to which other substances, defined as 'loads', are added with the aim of conferring specific physicochemical properties to the final compound.



O-Rings are mainly used as sealing elements for joint components in hydraulic and pneumatic systems, thus preventing or limiting fluid leaks. Therefore, O-Rings are used in an enormous range of sectors thanks to their ease of use and low cost.

The availability of various compounds allows manufacturing O-Rings suitable to work in contact with the most diverse types of fluid, at high and low temperatures, and in static and dynamic applications.
