We had so much fun watching the race with friends we decided to add something new this year. To make it a true NY weekend, we will host the picnic on the day of the Belmont Stakes. Let's have fun getting ready for summer! We will spend a fun filled afternoon applying henna tattoos to each other, while enjoying each other's company. No experience is necessary, kits will be provided with beautiful designs that will transfer to the skin and can be traced with the henna. This year Mary Parker will be available to create one of a kind personal designs. Beverages and finger foods will be served. Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available.
Henna tattoos are non-permanent dying or staining on the top layer of skin using a henna paste product; the process is called Mehndi. The tattoos are generally an intricate design and brown in color. They will fade in approximately 2-4 weeks.
