So far practically all the buildings of the castle have new roofs. The main castle has new windows, the outside walls are repaired and have new plaster. Only the courtyard and the rooms inside still wait to
be repaired.
The small castle
The small castle was built in place of the original moat in the early 17th century. The ground floor stables are an enormous open stone structure, the length of which can be seen in the lower picture. The flying bridge connecting the main and the small castle can be seen in the top left photo while the entrance to the stables is in the photo above.

The army left Zasmuky totally ruined. In 1982 a fire demolished the roof and tower of the main building and no repairs took place until 1992, when it was returned to the heir of the former owner.

The other buildings on the property
At the entrance in to the park there are two, as yet un-repaired, houses. The gardener’s cottage has 3 rooms on the ground floor, the gardeners house has 6 rooms on two floors. A modern prefabricated hall, 560 m2, left over from the army, could be used for various sporting activities.
