Welcome!Thank you for your interest in 21 Nights Entertainment. We hope this Event Guide helps answer questions you may have about the process of planning a casino night fundraiser, and we look forward to taking part in your organization’s fundraising efforts.

We understand this is probably your first time planning a casino night. This guide is intended to get you started with knowing what kinds of casino fundraisers there are, how they work, and what we do to help you create a memorable and winning event.

We’ve made this Guide as straight-forward and jargon-free as possible so please, don’t worry if you don’t know a thing about any of the casino games we offer. You will see that, while lots of hard work does go into putting together a successful event, none of that work has to involve you learning how to play the games themselves – unless, of course, you want to!

If you’d like to learn how to play Blackjack, Poker, or any of our other casino games, we welcome you to watch our instructional videos at www.21nights.com

OK, here we go!

The 4 Types of Casino FundraisersVegas Nights

Vegas Night fundraisers consist of an assortment of casino games, which may include Blackjack (’21’), Roulette, Poker (‘Texas Hold ‘Em’), Craps (‘dice’), and other games. Players donate to participate and receive gaming chips with no cash value. Prizes are given to the player(s) with the most chips at the end of the event (more on Prizes later). Proceeds from chip sales go to your organization.

Poker Tournaments

Poker Tournaments consist of the use of several Poker tables to hold a Texas Hold ‘Em Poker tournament. (Hold ‘Em is the most popular of poker today - see our Poker Tournament Event Guide at www.21nights.com for more on holding a poker tournament) Players donate to participate and receive gaming chips with no cash value. During the course of the event, players will lose their chips to other players. Prizes are given to the player(s) who are the last ones remaining in the tournament. Proceeds from chip sales go to your organization.

Mixed Casino

A Mixed Casino event is a fundraiser hybrid of a Vegas Night and a Poker Tournament where casino games and a poker tournament are run simultaneously.

Real Money

Real Money fundraisers consist of an assortment of casino games much like a Vegas Night, except that here, players buy and sell chips with cash value and place actual cash wagers on the games. Since players can win cash, prizes aren’t awarded. Proceeds from players’ losses, less other players’ wins, go to the host organization.

21 Nights Entertainment offers casino game rentals and staffing for all types of casino fundraisers except Real Money evente. Such events are illegal in many states and a rigorous licensing process is required in the rest (not required for any other type of casino fundraiser in our service areas). Also, there’s no way to forecast or guarantee how much money will be raised during the event, as Real Money events have actually lost money over the course of an evening, thus defeating the whole purpose.

How it WorksVegas Night Fundraisers

1) Your guests make a donation to your organization to participate in the event.2) Players receive a pre-determined amount of casino chips to play with at the tables. Donation amounts can be fixed (e.g.: donate $50 per 500 in casino chips) or they can be tiered (example: donate $50 and get 500 in chips, donate $100 and get 1,200 in chips, etc.)

3) If the players should run out of chips during the event, more chips can be obtained for an additional donation to your organization.4) At the end of the evening the player(s) with the most in chips typically win non-cash prizes, which would either provided by you or your event sponsor.

Poker Tournaments

1) Your guests make a donation to your organization to entry (‘buy-in’) to the event.2) Players receive a pre-determined amount of casino chips to play in the event.3) In the first hour, the player may ‘re-buy’ for an additional donation and receive more chips to play with. After the first hour of play, of if the player declines to re-buy, once he’s out of chips he’s out of the event.4) Play continues and as players are eliminated from the event, the number of active tables is reduced. The number of tables in play will eventually get down to one – the ‘Final Table’

5) The last players with chips at the Final Table are declared the winners, winning non-cash prizes. The very last player remaining is the Event Champion and would win the Grand Prize.

Players without prior knowledge of how to play Hold ‘Em can be given a tutorial a few minutes prior to the start of the event if necessary.

PrizesFor Vegas Nights, prizes are typically given to the players – usually 3 or 5 - with the most chips at the end of the event. In Poker Tournaments, prizes generaly go to those who made it to the Final Table. Casino prizes are almost never paid for by the hosting organization, instead being donated to them by a sponsor, but the decision to pay for prizes out-of-pocket is ultimately yours.

What you give away at your event is up to you as well. Prize values are normally in proportion to the donation requested. Citing some of our past fundraisers as examples, a weekend getaway to Atlantic City from New York City (valued at about $550) was given away as a prize at a $50-a-seat Poker Tournament, while a motorcycle (valued at about $17,000) was given away at another $500-a-seat Mixed Casino Night. and prizes as large as computers or even motorcycles given away at others. We can give general guidance on appropriate gifts for your group if needed.

e The Games We OfferBlackjackEach player is given two cards face up. The dealer is given one card face up and one face down. The object is to get as close to 21 without going over while beating the dealer who plays by a specific set of house rules. You’re given the option, among others, to ‘stand’ with your point total or ‘hit’ to try to increase it. Blackjack is by far our most popular casino game and is considered by many to be very easy to play.

Poker (Texas Hold ‘Em)The most popular version of poker played today! In Texas Hold ‘Em, players each get two cards face down. and after rounds of betting five community cards are dealt. Whoever has the best five card hand using either of their two cards and/or the five community cards wins the pot!

Roulette In Roulette, players are given colored chips to place on a number or series of num-bers of their choice. The dealer then spins the wheel. If it lands on your number or group of numbers, you win - it’s that simple!

Craps Craps is one of the most energetic, fast-paced (and loudest!) games in the casino Try your luck and throw the dice! Our staff would love to show you how to play this exciting game - and have you shooting like a pro by the end of the evening!

eComplimentary Extras

We at 21 Nights Entertainment believe in giving you more! We are proud to offer these complimentary products and services for qualifying events:

Custom Casino ChipsVery few casino event companies offer custom casino chips, and we’re the only one who offers them with our compliments! Our in-house design department will create enough high value (1K) chips for all of your guests, with your organization’s

logo and/or message on them to redeem for change at any of our gaming tables. At the end of the evening, those chips are redistributed to your guests as momentos of the good times for the evening. Our custom chips add a fresh, polished finishing touch to your fundraiser. What’s more, these chips last years longer than traditional paper funny money, and it’s event swag that fits in your pocket!

Professional Event PhotographyCapture every moment of your fundraiser with our photgraphy services, complimentary to qualifying events. We will take group shots and some candids of the night’s action both at and away from the casino tables. Our secure photo service is where you and your guests (and only you!) can access them and - of course! - share through the social media channel of your choice if you’d like.

Complimentary Extras are subject to availability, and terms and conditions apply. Call us at 855-216-4448 (855-21 NIGHTS) for more information.

The 21 Nights DifferenceWe are here for you!

21 Nights Entertainment provides equipment and staffing for Fundraisers, Poker Tournaments and much more! While we’re in somewhat of a niche industry, 21 Nights is actually one of hundreds of casino event companies in the U.S. Day after day, event by event, we strive to be the #1 casino event company in the nation!

Many of our competitors take a hands-off approach to handling fundraisers. They’ll be quick to sell you on a cookie-cutter casino package, pressure you to book the event, and give little more than a good-luck wish until event time. Not us! We commit ourselves to helping you every step of the way - from whatever preliminary event meetings you may have until the last guest has left for the evening - to achieve your fundraising goals. We design customized casino event packages that maximize your event revenues, and that match your organization and your guests perfectly!

Our friendly, professional casino staff gets everyone into the action with ease, regardless of players’ skill level. We also provide all the necessary equipment to ensure your event goes off without a hitch.

Frequently Asked QuestionsSo, do you take a percentage of our charity’s proceeds? How do you get paid?

We charge a flat per-table price for your event based on the number of tables or-dered, location and event date. An organization looking to raise $10,000 is charged the same as one looking to raise $250,000, given the same event size and location.

What’s included in your event packages?

Vegas Night fundraiser packages include:• Quality casino game tables, which come fully equipped with chips, cards, dice, wheels, and so on.• Professional dealers to run the games for four hours of playing time.• An event manager (more if needed) to oversee the event as a whole, answer any player questions and resolve any disputes.• Delivery, setup and breakdown of the games.

Poker Tournament and Mixed Casino Night fundraiser packages include:• Game tables, fully equipped with chips, cards, etc.• Professional dealers to run the games for the length of your event.• Tournament manager to seat players before and during the event, and to resolve any game disputes.• Tournament clock to ensure the game runs smoothly and within the allotted event time.• Delivery, setup and breakdown of the games.

How long does an event usually last?

Vegas Nights are usually four hours in length. That is, four hours of playing time is given to the players. Poker Tournaments can range anywhere from 3 to 7 hours in length, usually depending on the number of players. Generally, the more players in a tournament, the longer it will take.

Frequently Asked QuestionsWe were hoping to finish the event within a strict timeline, Is there a way to do this with a poker tournament?

Sure we can. We can adjust all game parameters to make an event run as long (or as short) as needed. It gets a little technical as to how we do this, but you can always give us a call and we’d be happy to explain.

We wanted to have a cocktail hour (and/or dinner) before everyone starts playing. Will that count towards the four hours?

No. The four hours are measured from the beginning to end of casino play. If you’re looking to make an entire evening out of your fundraiser, and have a cocktail hour/dinner scheduled to start at, say, 5 PM, with the casino games running from 7 to 11 PM, we setup the equipment well before guests arrive at 5 PM, and our dealer staff comes in prior to 7 PM to entertain for 4 hours, where we then break down at 11PM.

How much should we charge each player for our fundraiser?

Generally, what we like to do first is take your fundraising goal and work backward from there. Taking your fundraising goal and dividing that by the number of expected guests is a quick way to figure it out. We’d be happy to help you with this if you’d like.

What kind of fundraiser will work best for us?

It depends mostly on the size and the age, gender, and industrial makeup of your group. Vegas Night fundraisers tend to cater well to diverse, gender-balanced groups of players. We’ve seen that Poker Tournaments tend to attract experienced players, groups of mostly male players as well as those from the corporate sector. Mixed Casino Nights are a popular option for those looking to accommodate large numbers of guests (250 or more), and for organizations looking for a something-for-everyone type of event. Silent auctions are a popular addition to Texas Hold ‘Em and Mixed Casino fundraisers to raise more money as well.

Frequently Asked QuestionsHow many game tables will we need?

For Texas Hold ‘Em fundraisers, you’ll need one table for every 10 active players at your event. For Vegas Night fundraisers, 3 tables are typically needed for every 50 guests you’re looking to have at your event. It depends on a few factors such as your group’s makeup and other things going on at the event (seated dinner, DJ, other entertainers, etc.) No two events are exactly the same, and the three-per-fifty rule is a rough estimate at best, so give us a call and we can figure out exactly how many tables you’ll need. Some sample fundraiser packages are shown below:

How far in advance should we set the date for our event?

In our experience, the events with the best player turnout have been planned at the very least 8 weeks in advance (3-4 months, sometimes up to 6 months is more common)

How far in advance should we book with 21 Nights Entertainment?

We book on a first come, first served basis. It’s recommended that you book once you know the date of your event and have your event venue secured.

OK, what’s the next step?
