    1. Always ground or discharge yourself before touching any part of the computer.

    2. Do not work alone so that theres someone who can take care of you in case of

    accident or emergency.

    3. Be careful with the tools that may cause short circuit.

    4. When making cabling connections of any kind, use firm, even pressure but

    never excessive force. Small signal pins are very easily damaged if connected

    incorrectly. If it just won't fit, try to establish a reason rather than giving it a

    'hopeful' shove. Most connectors have some kind of alignment system to

    prevent incorrect connection.

    1. Open the Case. There are different methods for opening cases.

    2. Install the Power Supply.

    Steps;

    a. Insert the power supply into the case.b. Align the holes in the power supply with the holes in the case.

    c. Secure the power supply to the case using the proper screws.

    3. Attach the components to the motherboard and install the motherboard.

    Steps;

    a. Install a CPU and a heat sink/fan assembly.

    *Identify the type of CPU Holder in the motherboard.

    b. Install the RAM.

    *be sure that the RAM is compatible with the motherboard.

    Steps;

    b.1 Align the notches on the RAM module with the keys in the slot

    and press down until the side tabs click into place.

    b.2 Make sure that the side tabs have locked the RAM module.

    Visually check for exposed contacts.

    c. Install the motherboard

    c.1 Install standoffs computer case.

    c.2 Align the I/O connectors on the back of the motherboard with

    the openings in the back case.

    drive bay.

    a. 2 Insert the optical drive into the drive bay so that the optical

    drive screw holes align with the screw holes in the case.

    a. 3 Secure the optical drive to the case using the proper screws

    b. Install the floppy drive.

    b.1 Position the FDD so that it aligns with the 5.25-inch drive bay.

    b.2 Insert the FDD into the drive bay so that the optical drive screw

    holes align with the screw holes in the case.

    b.3 Secure the optical drive to the case using the proper screws.

    5. Install Adapter Cards

    a. PCIe x 1 NIC

    b. PCI wireless NIC

    c. PCIe x 16 video adapter card
