Feasibility Study for Warehou se Network Expansion

Objective-

The objective of the study was to conduct a feasibility analysis of the network

expansion plans of a logistics and container management department of a port

authority. We were deputed by the client to find out the areas or towns where the

client could plan to construct their new warehouses so as to provide better

warehousing capabilities to the manufacturing companies, logistics operators, freight

forwarders, exporters, importers etc.

Research Methodology

Face-to-Face In-depth Interviews

Middle and Top management staff members of manufacturing companies, logistics

operators, exporters, importers, freight forwarders, port authorities etc.

Study Brief-

We had conducted around 120 IDIs (In-depth Interviews) with top and mid-level

management persons of various manufacturing companies, exporters and importers

in 20 cities and towns. Each interview had taken around 30 minutes and had been

conducted by our researchers through Face-to-Face (FTF) Interviewing

methodology. We had undertaken the complete fieldwork in around 30 days to

gather all the data of the 20 cities from the customers.
