PROJECT DETAILS

� Project is called DOF telemetry system which includes redundant wireless microwave links established between

8 offshore platforms to one onshore control station.

� Wireless communication link is utilized for SCADA(monitoring and control) and Voice application.

� We have replaced existing Licensed band RS-232 communication system with fast and effective Ethernet

communication standard.

� Due to wireless communication on Ethernet interface standard , the data update is achieved in milliseconds as

compared to very slow existing RS232 communication system.

� Current installed wireless system operates in license free utilizing max security features , it has a data rate of 54

Mbps .

� Voice connectivity is also established by using Voice over IP devices .

� Link was established using license free frequency band : 2.400- 2.483 GHZ and 5.825-5.875 GHz

� Wireless System has been established between Central Control Room at ON shore and Off shore

� Maximum Distance between locations : 10 Km (Ariel) with clear Line of Sight

� Wireless link is established with following system architecture at Eight platforms

� Each offshore platform have two radio links, a) Main link b) Redundant link

� Total 8 redundant microwave links are established with 32 radios modems operating in 2.4 /5.8 GHz frequency
