Braithwaite House –Cladding Replacement SchemeProject Scope
Approximately 60% of the existing cladding wasfound to be aluminium composite cladding (ACM),the same cladding which was used to clad GrenfellTower.
The London Borough of Islington commissioned toreplace the existing cladding with a non-combustiblesolid aluminium panel. We were delighted to beappointed as their consultant to produce a full set ofEmployer’s Requirements document as well asQuality Control Advisor through to completion.
Archway were responsible for monitoring quality,undertaking weekly site visits and producinginformative reports identifying quality issues anddocumenting key changes on site.
We were also responsible for discharging the LocalAuthority's Building Control queries through tocompletion. This included coordinating andpresentation of technical data submissions to satisfythe Building Control officer and achieve BuildingRegulations sign off.
