In recent years, Newfoundland and Labrador has experienced a well-publicized boom in its tourism sector, however the owners of Goose Cove Retreat saw a niche that wasn’t being met. They set out to design an executive-caliber private retreat in the heart of bustling Trinity Bay. We provided a brand their target demographic could trust, a highly visual and experiential website, and a marketing plan to make sure it was reaching the right people at the right time.

In recent years, Newfoundland and Labrador has experienced a well-publicized boom in its tourism sector, however the owners of Goose Cove Retreat saw a niche that wasn’t being met. They set out to design an executive-caliber private retreat in the heart of bustling Trinity Bay. They needed to reach a very select group of travellers with a brand that resonated with the target market.  Pilot was contracted to develop a fitting brand, a precision marketing strategy, and a website that would work for both owner and client.

With most destination travel being planned online, our marketing strategy focused on reaching potential clients, all over the world, in the places they visit online. We also realized that the web space needed to do justice to the experience, as well as properly reflecting the upscale feel of the property.

Pilot’s solution was the development of a highly visual, experientially-focused website that went beyond an online brochure. Focused on the key audiences of the retreat - those looking for a family getaway or a corporate retreat - the imagery and copy of the site reflected the truly memorable nature of the property and the area, while the site architecture was fully search engine optimized.
