HANGOVER TRAILER

• The Hangover Trailer makes you intrigued to see the film. It shows the genre extremely well and can get the audience to watch the film instantly if they like comedy

movies.

• Eventhough its only a trailer, it still establishes thplot of the film and gives us a lot of information in the two

minutes and a half of filming.

• On a variety of different online websites there is merchandise

for The Hangover. From T-shirts to bobble heads to the trilogy of

the Hangover films. This is a form of making the film popular

and so that fans can have an even larger interest in the movie.

HOW THE INBETWEENERS MOVIE WAS

MARKETEDThe Inbetweeners movie was marketed to the British public through

teaser trailers. This generated excitement and a thrill for existing

Inbetweeners fans. This would create an enigma tat would attract

the target audience which is teenagers in this case.

There was a variety of film posters, billboards and posters at bus

stops which built up excitement and popularity.

SOCIAL NETWORK MARKETING

• On twitter there is accounts relevant to each character within Inbetweeners. The accounts

are parody and allow fans to Retweet and favorite humorous tweets.

• There is also Facebook pages so you can like them and to show the popularity of

Inbetweeners they have over one million likes.

WHY WAS THE INBETWEENERS MARKETED?

• The Inbetweeners Movie was marketed to promote the film and

attract the target audience they want. This is so when the film

arrives it will be successful.

• If films were not marketed then the consumer wouldn't ’t have

become known to the product. Therefore, it will reinforce

popularity.

POSTER VS. TRAILER

On the left is an image of what the Inbetweeners poster looks like. As you can

see by the image next to it which is in the trailer, that the fonts are exactly the

same font style. This allows us to establish that they are from the same

companyand the film as been made from a series.

BWARK PRODUCTIONS• Bwark Productions is a London based comedy producer founded in 2004 by two former

Channel 4 commissioning editors – Iain Morris and Damon Beesley. Bwark is the best known in the UK for its hit E4 comedy series The Inbetweeners.
