    First of all, let´s go for food and drinks. From the hostel you can go

    to the Plaza de San Diego, where you will find various restaurants

    and cafés. Is just a 5 minutes walk, so no worries in case you are

    starving.

    So.. Great start! You are already are in the colorful city center

    (known also as old town or ciudad amurallada), our first area to

    explore. Everything in the ciudad amurallada is within walking

    distance. So no worries about transportation and enjoy the walking

    through the colorful streets. Spots and markets to pass by are

    definitely: Plaza de San Diego, Las Bóvedas, Plaza de Santo

    Domingo, Torre del Reloj, Muelle de los Pegasos. Just ask people

    around how to get there.

    Take a close look to the doors of the colonial-style houses in the city center.

    You will see lot of different lions, lizards, fishes in metal called aldabones. In

    the end of the day you will have a nice photocollection!

    Wake up early, have a soft breakfast and be at 7 am at Cartagena

    Divers, because today is time to explore Cartagena… but

    underwater. Staff will welcome you at the scuba diving center and

    explain how your day is going to look like. If you don't have a divers

    license no worries. You'll take part of the divers mini-course and will

    do 2 immersions.

    Time to go to the greatest fortress that the Spaniards built in

    Cartagena during the colonial era, the Castillo de San Felipe

    de Barajas. The fortress is within 25-minute walk from the old

    town. You can also go local and take a bus from the Parque

    el Centenario or grab a taxi.

    From el Castillo de San Felipe de Bajaras you will get a nice view

    over Cartagena and help your sense of orientation too.

    Now is time for some new colors and street art in

    Cartagena's Getsemani quarter. Return to Parque

    Centenario and ask for the way to the antigua (old) fábrica de

    jabones Lemaitre. The old factory is now home of street art

    and murals that tell the story of the Getsemani quarter. Keep

    walking into other little streets to discover more murals.

    Be sure you don't miss Fin DAC´s mural "la Heroica" at the Plaza De

    La Trinidad.

    Hungry again? Head to the Plaza de Santisima Trinidad and

    in one corner you will find an almost destroyed facade with a

    big blue stamp "DEMENTE" (INSANE). This is one of the

    coolest places to have drinks and tapas.

    For the last day go to the beach, relax and try Flyboard at the Hotel

    las Americas. You will need a taxi to get there.
