He started his career in the auto industry at the age of 21 when he became a service writer for Mercury Village Grove in Village Grove, IL. He then went on to become a service writer at Community Pontiac in Oak Lawn, IL. He was then hired by Jack Loftus Ford in Elmhurst, IL., as the youngest Service Department Manager at the time. Soon after, Jeff opened his own shop called J&J Auto Detailing where he provided detailing services and bought and sold vehicles through local auto auctions. After running J&J Auto, Jeff was hired as body shop manager by Bumper to Bumper of Oak Lawn, IL. There Jeff managed a team of mechanics and office staff. He wrote estimates, wrote service contracts, purchased and sold vehicles and worked with insurance companies to resolve the processing of his customers’ claims. Jeff left Bumper to Bumper when he moved to Arizona in 1986. It was there he combined his automotive experience with that of the insurance industry.
