CONDITIONS OF SALE

1. The stock will be sold in the order which they appear in the catalogue and the highest bidder on each lot on the fall of the banner will be declared the pur-chaser. If any dispute shall arise between two or more bidders then the lot in dispute will be put up again and resold, or the purchaser may be declared by the auctioneer.

2. The pedigree and description of the lots are believed to be correct, but are not intended as a warranty and therefore shall be taken with all faults and errors of description.

3. All animals are at the risk of the vendor before sale and of the purchaser after the sale. The auctioneer accepts no responsibility for damage or injury caused to the animal in the sales yard or in its precinct thereof.

4. The service dates, while believed to be correct, cannot however be guaran-teed.

5. All lots will be sold in Euro. Purchasers will be charged a fee of 5% of the sale price.

6. Purchasers shall, if and when required, give their names and addresses to the auctioneers and shall if required, pay to the auctioneer the purchase money for each lot at the fall of the hammer, or as soon thereafter as the auctioneers may require.

7. Purchasers paying by cheque must be prepared, if required, to produce a banker’s reference.

8. No lots shall be removed from the sale premises until a written delivery or-der has been given or on behalf of the auctioneers.

9. Each lot shall, at the purchaser’s expense, be removed from the sale premises within a reasonable time after the close of the day’s sale.

10. All statements in the catalogue or made by the auctioneer at the time of sale relating to the animal are believed to be correct. No sale shall be invalidated by reason of any defect or faults in any of the animals by reason of any of the animals being incorrectly described in the catalogue, or by the Auctioneer in the ring, and no compensation shall be paid in respect of any faults or errors of description.

ENNISCRONE TEXELSThe flock was established in 1992 with the purchase of females from several local flocks. The aim has always been to breed sheep with plenty of size and power that appeal to commercial sheep producers and pedigree breeders. The top lambs go to blessington every year with many of them selling to pedigree flocks. Embryo Transfer plays a big part in our breeding plan. Our best ewes are flushed every year to top uk and irish sires. Some ET daughters from our best ewes are included in this sale. We are donating a ewe for a raffle with all proceeds going to North West Hospice.

CLEW BAY FLOCKThe flock was established in 2005 with the aim of breeding big strong correct rams to satisfy local demand for commercial sheep producers. In 2011 we started us-ing AI and Embryo Transfer. This has had a massive impact on our flock namely Milbank Valderon and has fast forwarded the genetic progress we have made en-abling us to compete very successfully at national level. The use of ET has left us in a position to offer some of our top breeding females for sale. A few rams have had a massive impact on our flock namely Allanfauld Rockafella, Teigluim Tornado, Enniscrone Playboy and Tamnamoney Preacher. Several of their progeny are in-cluded in the sale.
