The engagement of Miss Eva Mae Watkins of Matewan, West Virginia, and Louis Fabin of Williamson, West Virginia, is announced by tlie par- ents of the bride-to-be, Mr. and Mrs. Frank M. Watkins of 80 Stebbins. Miss Watkins is engaged in Missionary Radio Work at Radio Station WHJC (We Herald Jesus Christ) in Matewan. A spring wedding is planned by the couple. Clark School Saturday evening guests ot Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Anderson were Mrs. Hildur Holmgren, Mrs. Flor- ence Anderson, Mr. and Mrs, Walter Afton. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Swanson and Troy, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Anderson, and Mrs. John Sandison and Martin. John Sandison is re- covering from tlie mumps and was unable to be present. The Happy Hour Club Valentine Party was held with Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Clark Friday evening with about twenty guests present. The evening was spent playing games after which a carry-in lunch was served. 1 he next meeting will be with Mrs. Hildur Holmgren on Fri- dav afternoon, March 19. 'Casey Studio' d Mrs. Emrick John Larson Miss Diana Lee Fisk and Emrick John Larson exchanged marriage vows on Saturday evfening, February 12 at the Mamrelund Lutheran Church of Kent City, jwith the Rev. Donald Johnson officiating. Parents of the bridal couple ikre Mr. and Mrs. Donald F*isk and Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Larson, all of lilent City. The bride wore a ttallerina-length sheath gown of peau taffeta with a sequin and pear 1-trimimed fitted bodice and a detachable bouffant over- skirt. A princess ci\pwn of seed pearls held her shoulder-lengtli veil and she carried real and white roses. Miss Lois Anderson) of Kent City was maid of honor. She wore a pale yellow sheath with\a bouffant overskirt and matching headpiece. Kenneth Presler ol Ke.nt City served as best man.
