I. Introduction
Binational Health Week (BHW) is one of the largest efforts in the Americas to bring awareness and improve the well-being of Mexican and Latin American immigrants and migrants living in the United States of America, Canada and Mexico.1 In 2014, over 300,000 Latinos and Hispanics were reached during BHW events 2.In April 2006, Tarrant County Public Health (TCPH) received a request from the Mexican Consulate in Dallas to participate in BHW by partnering in the creation of health screenings and activities for the community. Carnaval de Salud began in October 2006 and has been going strong with the completion of the 10th Annual Carnaval de Salud on October 3, 2015. Numerous organizations have collaborated with TCPH in order to make the event possible. Health services provided during the event include, but are not limited to: 500 flu vaccinations, 61 vision screenings, 196 glucose/cholesterol screenings, 51 prostate screenings, 55 HIV/Syphilis screenings, 57 Chlamydia/Gonorrhea screenings, 400 blood pressure checks without Body Mass Index (BMI), 325 blood pressure checks with BMI, 40 mammogram vouchers and 210 Children Identification Fingerprint Kits.
During the 10th Annual Carnaval de Salud, a survey was administered to participants to identify health information regarding Mexican-origin and other Latino migrant and immigrant populations in Tarrant County.
II. Methodology
A 15-question survey was created and distributed to participants, age 18 and over, for the 2015 Carnaval de Salud event. The survey was provided in English and Spanish. The option to complete the survey was voluntary and participants selected the survey in their preferred language. Questions from the survey included demographic information (age group, gender, and Mexican state of origin, if applicable), insurance coverage, promotion of event, and overall health. A total of seventy-eight surveys were completed and collected for data.

VIII. Conclusion
Carnaval de Salud is a collaborative partnership between organizations to improve the well-being and health of Mexican and Latin American immigrants. Through these BHW events, the community becomes more informed of the available resources in the area and raises awareness to immigrant health. The free services offered during this special event are an effort to reduce health inequities and disparities in the Tarrant County community.
